I said it once and I'll say it again. Best setlist I've ever seen.

Guns N' Roses DLC. I see Chinese Democracy in the album DLC future. Hopefully some older stuff will get thrown out there.

Rush. More Rush. Best of Rush, please, no Rush album has more than two hits on it.

Metallica would be good, but Death Magnetic is coming out as full album DLC on GH:WT. So, uh, dunno if it'll happen on RB2. Older Metallica would be good; the Black Album, mayhaps? Kill 'Em All would be cool, too, but we'll probably get Some Kind of Monster. >_>

AC/DC. Thunderstruck, Back in Black, Highway to Hell, Shook Me All Night Long? Some of the popular ones would just be fun to play. And sing.

Also, Rock Band instrumentals. Please. Who gives a flying intercourse  about the singer half of the time; the real instruments are where it's all at. That could bring some of the best Rush (YYZ, La Villa Strangiato) and some virtuoso guitarists (Steve Vai, Satriani, etc) to the Rock Band lineup.

Van Halen. Eruption + You Really Got Me. Just for the lulz. Then we could bring out some other good Van Halen, Runnin' With The Devil, Panama, Hots for Teacher, etc. etc.

Trogdor. For epic lulz.

Yes. Because prog is awesome, and Rock Band needs Roundabout.

Blue Oyster Cult. We need some of the other good ones, Godzilla, Burnin' For You, Cities on Flame.

Finally, DEEP PURPLE. SMOKE ON THE WATER IN ROCK BAND, COME ON.

Now, an idea pitch. GIANT CO-OP BANDS. I'm not talking GNR-style five piece bands. I'm talking singer, two back-ups, a lead, rhythm and bass guitar, drums and extra percussion. Multitasking is destroyed. It would just be hilarious. Band vs. Band is good, but, really, giant bands for RB3. You wouldn't pick what you get, because no one would want to play backup or rhythm guitar, or extra percussion. Randomly picked every song. It's a hard-to-reach idea, because it would take a, uh, WHILE to chart all the instruments.

As for the setlist, pretty good. They picked good songs and songs people wanted to hear for the most part. Ace of Spades, American Woman, Any Way You Want It, Battery (that song will be HARD), Carry on Wayward Son, Livin' on a Prayer, Peace Sells, Pinball Wizard, Ramblin' Man, Shakler's Revenge, and The Trees sound good to me. But, I mean, out of all the AC/DC to pick from, they pick Let There Be Rock? It's a good song, but not one of the most popular ones. And Dream Theater... THEY DIDN'T PICK PULL ME UNDER. NO ONE HAS HEARD OF A DREAM THEATER SONG BESIDES PULL ME UNDER. *facepalm* Anyways, it looks great.

EDIT: About the Dream Theater song, Panic Attack... well, they picked it just for an insanely difficult song. ;_; LISTEN TO IT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=huQtK9QwWrw

We will all get our arses owned by that song. DOUBLE BASS PEDAL PLEASE.

DLC should feature more secondary rock bands like My Chemical Romance and Death Cab For Cutie. Hopefully. Anyway, the setlist looks pretty good.

Actually, it shouldn't, because no one would buy it. ^__^

Who knows, though, look at that MTV2 pack.

Yes, Carry on Wayward son! Why has it taken them long to get Kansas in there? I wonder if the guitar part will be the same as on gh2 on here for that song. How about Master Exploder? Is it gonna be some cheap cover like on Battle of the Bands that says "My voice is Freakin'" instead of Fuckin? Not too much they can do but cover in a rated E or T game with a song that swears.

There's 7 boston songs you can import in from dlc+rb1, I think we can manage.

No, they can edit the master track--they did so with Welcome Home in the original RB.

Yeah, assuming that the leaked /b/ setlist for GHWT is true, it's a lot better than RB2's.

Speaking of which, another thread's been added for GHWT's setlist.

Not really... there is a good mixture of songs in all of the games, especially rock band with all the DLC, if you ask me.

Wow, I didn't expect that Steely Dan song to be last tier. And The Trees is different version? Should be interesting.

For guitar? Yeah, that song is supposedly the hardest guitar song ever in Rock Band. I'm not sure it's that hard, but the solos in it are quite ridiculous.

I've seen the guitar duel of that song. And yes, the solo (the solo was the only thing showed) was quite intense. I guess we'll see.

Steely Dan only has 1 other song that I know with really good guitar solos. That's Reelin' in the years.

Fixed. ;D But yeah, they really are good with releasing DLC.

I wonder If you can buy songs separately with the albums. I won't get DLC Unless I get the ps3 and the ps3 version (Or a 360, but I'm wanting a ps3 more now) But I really want to download 'They're Red Hot' On that album. It's crazy on vocals. The more I listen to the RB2 setlist, the more I like It (Just like WT's, oddly enough @_@ )

Yes, you can buy tracks from the album separately, but you save $12 by buying BSSM as the whole album as opposed to them all individually.
