Do you think we'll ever see Wart again?
I hope we do. You never know. Birdo came back, and she was from Super Mario Bros 2. Shy Guys have always been around. But they never brought back Wart. It could a possibility he's in the next Mario Kart, or some other spin-off.

Yeah, it's interesting that Shy Guys, Birdo, and very rarely pidgets made it into other games. Many of Peach's abilities in Brawl, like the onion and floating, come from the US SMB2. Otherwise, msot other things have been forgotten.
Fans still reference it now and then with Wart, Potion Doors, going into those Vase like things. Fry Guy is also mentioned often by fans and a few people think he's been seen in other games, though no one has shown any proof to my knowledge.
I'm not really sure if we'll see Wart return, though it would be kinda cool if they made a new game similar to it with new levels, new enemies, and improved graphics. Like a "Super Mario Bros 2: Return to Subcon" type of game.
He probably will some day. And I hope he does too.
If ROB of all things became a playable character in MKDS and SSBB, then Wart will too.
Revive him and put him in the next Mario game for the Wii. Or keep him 2D and in a game for the DS.

You can't have a boss like that and then just completely drop him.
Maybe if they come out with the New Super Mario Bros 2, he could be a boss if they have it like the US Super Mario Bros 2. (http://mfgg.taloncrossing.com/html/emoticons/smile.gif)
