Okay, I saw Dark Knight at the midnight premiere last night, and it was amazing, but it made me wonder: why isn't there a game for it? Now, if it was just the typical sucky movie-based game, I wouldn't even get it, but still, why didn't they make one? They made one for the last Batman movie. I thought maybe the release of Lego Batman this September would have something to do with it, but: 1. the lego game doesn't follow the movie plot, and 2. Lego Star Wars was released with Episode III, and Episode III still got a game. So, just out of curiousity, does anyone know why there isn't The Dark Knight video game?
Because they knew the game would suck, and they were already making Lego Batman.
Just like there was no Indiana Jones game, there's no Dark Knight game.
Licensed games = suck = why bother

Not necissarily. Lego Star Wars and Indy are awesome (can't wait for Lego Batman!), many Star Wars games such as Battlefront and KOTOR are pretty good, and Spiderman 2 was one of the best games I've ever played.

There's a reason why they're never remembered as the best games ever (best so far is KOTOR) while they constantly fall into the "worst games ever" category (E.T., Superman64...need I say more?)
While the game that came along side Batman Begins did suck, it also showed some potential and promise. I was kinda hoping they were going to improve it and do another release with Dark Knight.
Because Batman begins game got crappy ratings.
(even though I liked it...)
Well, it turns out they are going to have one, but it's coming out with the DVD instead of the movie.
I heard about it on G4.
Ha! I love it how actors are always the ones leaking sensitive info. Thanks, Gary Oldman.
