You make me feel like I did something wrong...
Because of my age I'm not disciplined, and if I ever was it would be
work related.
The only thing thats Me being closed to disciplined is my, "morals".
1. I don't curse (even online).
2. I don't drink.
3. I don't smoke.
4. I say my prayers every single night no matter what because of my faith.
5. I believe in Karma to an extent, so I try to do everything good for myself and other people.
There are others, but I can't really remember right now. :P
I never get disciplined :P
Just grounding occasionally, but my parents give in after a while and let you go out.
I've never gotten grounded because I don't really go anywhere anyway.
The main "punishment" is a really awkward and tense aura that I have to live uneasily with for a few hours. It's like there's a presence of unrest. Like, psychological discipline I guess. I don't think it's directly intentional though. Enough to make me not want to act out, especially when my mom is tired.
Zovi and I are a lot alike in that sense, but I tend not to cause issues. I've developed a sense of when to shut my mouth, which is likely why I am alive.
Discipline in my house is the stupidest thing on the planet, because it's so easily avoidable, and if it happens, it's so easy to get out of, because my parents don't think things through.
Example: The last time I was grounded was a year ago, because of me being an idiot and not doing homework in Spanish, which resulted in me getting a 55 (How not doing homework, which was 25% of the grade, when I get 90s-100s on the other 75% and that grade being the result is beyond my comprehension), so the punishment was everything I owned in my room, except my bed, my dresser, and the consoles I own themselves (No wires/controllers) was moved into my parents' room. I couldn't go anywhere, and the only thing I could really do was read. This grounding was supposed to last until I brought the grade up to a 95.
However, they left me with my Cell Phone, in case of emergencies. Stupidest thing they've ever done that I've seen. Why would I need to call you (my parents) if someone is always home, and I'm not allowed to leave? So, the day after the grounding, I was like "heeeeeeeey i still haz mah selular fone", and texted one of my friends (Lichig0, actually >_>; ) to come over to my house and say "Hey we're playing *INSERT FOUR-PLAYER GAME HERE*, and we needed a fourth person. Can Marcus come over?" to my mom.
It worked. Four days in a row. At that point, my grade was an 85, and my mom said "Ah, screw it" and ungrounded me.
There are many other occasions where I simply can't go anywhere because I said was being a 'smartass' too much or one of my grades is below an 80.
My house is pretty lax, even though my parents try to make it seem that it's not. I really hope they're stricter with my little brother, because the way I was raised made me lazier than I was probably going to be from inheriting genes from my parents, which drops my grade a few points, resulting in these pointless discipline maneuvers.
I am rarely diciplined. In fact, I can't remember the last time I got diciplined...

I'm actually currently grounded...for a number of reasons involving smoking, drinking, and sneaking females into the house...
and also not serving punishment.
my mom goes crazy...starts screaming yelling and all that jizz.
got into a fight a little while ago actually, almost ended up going to live with my dad.
but eh, we're okay now.
my house is a train wreck, so i'm used to it by now. but usually my mom disciplines by making us clean the house or something. (Mostly i think because she's too lazy to do it herself), but yeah.
Oh and yes, she takes away my Wii.
Which breaks my heart. :'(

The only way you can be disciplined, is to learn that you've done wrong.
Thread sucks, half of our active members are above 18 and are essentially untouchable by their parents short of eviction. Like poor JMV.
