Title: Anyone here...
Post by: Ridley on July 24, 2008, 02:45:21 PM
Smart when it comes to videogame systems and such? I need help and will work with anyone via pm. The problem is I got the wii blue light freeze because my idiot friend sent me a large chain letter. I have a few ideas on what to do but nothing is guarenteed.

Also mods, I am asking for someone to pm me for help so the thread is technically not about the system so please don't move it.

Ok the problem is the wii's lack of memory/hardrive. You see after a while of getting vc games and a lot of old mail I should have deleted stored on my wii's internal memory, it only had a little memory left but then my idiot friend sent me a huge ass chain letter and overloaded my wii. It freezes before I recieve the email so when I turn it off, I still have to recieve it next time I turn it on. Now I call it the blue light freeze because whenever I recieve the email, my wii glows blue and freezes. Simple as that. It doesn't even matter what you are doing, when it glows blue, it freezes. Thanks for any help you could give.

It is because of lack of freaking harddrive!!!!!

Wipe the memory in the settings.

Disconnect it from the internet, then make space.

You see, I want to keep my brawl data. And Mystic, I am trying a variation of what you said.

Alright guys, good news and bad news. Good news is, my wii is working again and I can do almost everything. Bad news is, that until I find a better solution, I can't use the wii message board. Oh well, it got me the problem in the first place.

The solution was to go to maitnence mode with the + - button trick. How did I forget? :D

The word "ass" can't be blocked?

That is completely beside the point.
