Warturtle? Why him? I think he was the least known of the 9 different Pokemon.

I like it just the way it is:
Squirtle
Ivysaur
Charizard

I like them the way they are, for the most part. I think that they did pretty well in choosing the best evolutionary stages for these three Pokemon.

Ivysaur is my favorite of its evolutionary group
Charmander is my favorite of its group.
And Squirtle is my favorite of its group.

Maybe I might have chosen Blastoise and Charmander instead of Squirtle and Charizard, but I still like the way that they have, and I think it suits the game pretty well.
