*Since I am incredibly bored, I shall do a copy and pasta thread from another forum*
This 'Mini' Series of mario is really good, and could deserve a bit more recognition in my opinion.
For me with paper mario, I had the original cartridge, have It on my wii, have PM:TTYD (And I have a file with somewhere around level 40-50, think It was that) And I rented SPM But beat It so easily.
I've beaten paper mario and did mostly everything in It, same with pm:ttyd, and beat a pit of 100 (Or both I think) During my rental of SPM.
Last time I played paper mario was at a friends house about a week ago, and we played from 2PM Until about 7AM.
So, who else is into the series? Thoughts?
It's alright, but I much prefer the M+L games, even though I put the original before both of them.
Yeah, a new Paper Mario would be awsome, and I also like the M&L series too. Maybe a slight combination? When I say that I mean turn Paper Mario back into an RPG, and you can do attacks with your partner, like in M&L.
Paper Luigi should be the next game. Luigi gets no love :(
Paper mario is my favourite mario series.
Mario and Luigi series is good too.
Iv'e noticed a pattern in release dates for both series.
Paper Mario - Mario and Luigi - TTYD - PiT - Super paper mario - New Mario and luigi
The Paper Mario series has always had a special place on my shelf. Paper Mario was a great game. Paper Mario: TTYD was AMAZING and has always been one of my favorite games. For me, it's definitely the best Gamecube game, with Wind Waker in a close second. Super Paper Mario was okay, but it didn't have as much of a lasting effect as the others. It would have been nearly perfect if it was an RPG like its predecessors and had more sidequests. I'm still waiting for an official Paper Mario 3. Picture this: you have a hammer jacket for the wii remote, and in battle you have to swing the remote down just as the fourth light on the hammer bar lights up to whack your opponents.

The hammer jacket, no. But I can see the rest of that hammer statement happening.
