Title: Super Mario and aging
Post by: Mystic on July 29, 2008, 07:33:18 PM
In PiT, it's established that characters age. But in the Super Mario series, it isn't. It is mentioned that Peach is continuously captures, so it makes sense that all games are connected to each other. But in the past 20 whatever years, they haven't seemed to age.

Do characters age in the SM series?

Yes they do, but every new games is just a day after the previous game, so we don't notice.

Obviously, there is a Baby Mario and Baby Luigi.

It's just not important in the non-RPG games.

PiT
Yoshi's Island
Mario Kart Wii
Superstar Sluggers

They are secondary characters, but prove that aging exists in the Mario series.

None of those games are in the Super Mario series.

Super Mario series: Bros, Land, World, 64, Sunshine, Galaxy

It's just in the RPGs. It doesn't really matter in any of the other games though.
