Well a couple days ago, I started to play SA2:B again, and training my chao some more, but I have no more room for new chao, so I was thinking of starting a new chao garden (I have several GCN memory cards) and making a bunch of special chao.
To get a chaos chao, can I start from a new chao? or does the chao have to be reborn? Then I have to feed it 1 of every animal and no drives, right?
Also, I want someone to tell me about every type of special chao I can get, and how to get them. Like this:

Chaos Chao:
The Chao MUST "transform" (official term, but it's more correct to call it reincarnation; cocoon is pink). That takes Five Chao years, which are about 2 hours apiece. The Chao also must like you, meaning when a particular character whistles, they come.
Then, after the second reincarnation, give it ONLY ONE of each animal (make sure the stat changes go through or it won't count). I don't know about Chaos Drives, don't risk it, as you will have all the time in the world to train them to level 99. Go to GameFaqs to find an animal guide and where to find them.

Bats remove the legs.
Half-Fish (intercourse ed up green thing you see in the Black Market) makes the ball a flame.
Skeleton Dogs give them the ability to put items on their head/gives legs back/turns ball back to normal.
You may need to give multiple animals for the effects to occur.

Ghost chao is just an animal effect. Other odd animal effects are:
Skeleton Dog: Remove existing animal parts
Bat: Makes legs invisible (chao still 'walk' in normal walking motions)
Kappa: Replaces chao ball with flame (flame also exists in all dark chaos chao)
I guess I'll list what I consider a special chao:
Gemstone chao colors (Ruby, Onyx, Topaz, etc): Mini Chao Garden in Sonic Advance 1 or 2.
Silver and Gold chao: Mini Chao Garden or Sonic Adventure DX's Adventure Stages.
Shiny normal chao: Breeding a shiny coloured and normal (ones you start off with) chao.
Invisible or semitransparent chao: Breeding a shiny coloured and gemstone chao. [spoiler](eyes, mouth, chao ball, hat, badges, animal parts, and wings remain visible with no transparency in both)[/spoiler]
Tails chao: Phantasy Star Online.
Amy chao: Action Replay.
Chaos chao: (already posted)
Two-tone chao other than normal: Breeding normal chao with colored
(next four are seen in challenge races)
Omochao: Action Replay.
Animal 'chao': Action Replay.
Walking egg chao: Action Replay
'Cockroach' chao: Get the Onyx Gemstone chao then use the dragon animal for antennae
