I remember a while ago, someone posted a pic of a GCN controller that hooks up to the Wiimote. I think someone said it was fake, but I wanna know if it is or not. 'Cause I want one.
I want one because I've been playing GCN games on my Wii lately, and for some reason, EVERY time I play a GCN game on my Wii for the first time in a long time, SOMETHING makes me pull my controller, 'causing my Wii to fall... Last time it was a bug, (my chair is close to the ground) I tried to kick the bug away and my foot swept under the cord, then my foot went over the cord from the other side making me accedentally pull my Wii and it fell. Though there is no damage to the Wii or the games I play, I wanna make it stop before I DO cause some damage.
PS: I do have a wireless GCN controller, but it's broken.
You got a link to it? That would be helpful.
I also feel the same way. *Glares at SNES Controller*

No, it was a while ago.
I know what you're talking about
I think it was in a gamer magazine, back when the Wii was called "Nintendo Revolution"
With the recent "Gamecube controller ban" I doubt that that is true.

Plans are in the works by Ninty, or so it is said after the patent dispute.
No, the controller you saw was a complete fake.

Some fake rumor that this company called Anascape sued Ninty over copyright infringement on the GCN and Classic controllers, and that they would no longer be sold after July 30th. However, this easily proves it fake:

Nintendo was also appealing to a higher court, so the ban would be put off until an official ruling. >_>
