Did you read it?

QuoteBogus or not bogus?: Not bogus that the Wii's successor is in the early stages of development--as is the fourth PlayStation and the Xbox 720 (working title). However, it's 100 percent bogus that Miyamoto has had his last idea. That won't happen until the 55-year-old designer jumps off into the great Mushroom Kingdom in the sky.

They will continue making systems as long as they make money.

Oh, and Miyamoto can take as long as he wants coming up with new ideas, all of his games are awesome.

Yeah, Nintendogs was one hell of an epic game, all right.

Cool, he's out of new ideas. Maybe he'll go back and reuse some of the old ones now instead.

Like F-Zero. :|

i hope this "Wii 2" will be a add-on to the current Wii.
because if you already have a Wii, why get another one?
you'll just have two console's, one that can most likely do both consoles work, and one that can only do it selfs.

Is Wii, or maybe, Gamecube, the first console you ever had?  NES to SNES, SNES to N64, and N64 to Gamecube:  sometimes you just have to get rid of the old to get the new.  Plus, if you want to keep Brawl or Mario Kart (even though they'll probably make SSB4 and another MK), restarting those files on a new console shouldn't really be that big of a deal, since anything customizable (aka something requiring effort) can be easily restored (such as a Brawl control scheme) or transfered (such as a Brawl pic).

Obviously there is a "Wii Ni" (The japanese name will be ultimate awesomeness if they do the Wii 2...but they won't...dang)

Ran out of ideas? This is the dude who thought injesting mushrooms and glowing flowers for power-ups was a good idea.
I'm sure he'll come up with something else sooner or later.

Well, he was inspired to make Super Mario Bros because of Alice in Wonderland and Donkey Kong after Popeye.

But he DID make a game based on his explorations as a child awesome, so he does have an imaginative mind.  :P

Like what?  MK and SSBB aren't really that big of a deal since the only good stuff that isn't transferable is unlockable characters and levels.  What other non-transferable games do you have?

I believe they said that it wouldn't be called the 720.

They may not even make another system, they have lost so much with the Xbox/Xbox 360.

It's numbers are fairly good, but Microsoft is losing BILLIONS from faulty hardware (a.k.a. the Red Rings of Death) and other problems.

Square-Enix isn't even offering the 360 FFXIII in Japan because no one has a 360... XD
Xbox is a hit in America, but they're not much of a threat elsewhere in the world. It's still Nintendo/Sony

With the Red Rings of Death Microsoft has basically no chance of making a profit with the 360

Yeah, if Microsoft hadn't made the 360 so faulty and tried to promote it better in japan, they might be doing better.
