I seriously don't understand how anyone can like Zoids so much, unless they played with the toys or something. It's pretty lame, honestly. Sort of like the Gundam animes except marketed toward 10 year olds.

Essentially, you want to be in the middle: not too close to a Silverhawk, not too close to being Kaz.
