Title: Vertigo: The Game.
Post by: Tupin on August 20, 2008, 06:41:58 PM
Otherwise known as Mirror's Edge.

Look at that video. It looks amazing and so much fun, but wow, it sure is vertigo-inducing. D:

You know, the concept of a first-person platformer has been around for a while, mainly as a joke. In Mirror's Edge, there's no HUD, no health meter, absolutely nothing except one little white dot.

I just hope this isn't like the jumping in most FPS's...

Looks kind of hard. But fun, too.
I would get it...that is, if I had a 360.

When I get a 360 (if ever) this is one of the games I plan on getting.

It's something new and interesting, which is something most gamers need....

It's also on the PC, but it looks like it will have high system requirements.

Yes, I am going to pre-order it soon because I want something that's not a sequel, port, or clone.

It looks to me like it's Microsoft's answer to the Conduit. But it looks fun nevertheless.

They are of two completely different genres and play drastically different.

Or free-running, it doesn't matter, I'm just glad to see it in a game.

I might get the PC version, if my laptop can magically run it. :x

I meant same basic graphics and art style, both first person, etc. I know they're very different, but it just clicked in my mind for some reason. >.>

Yeah, but I thought that Mirror's Edge wasn't supposed to have green at all in the game, I heard that.

Mirror's Edge is a new IP, Lotos. Shocking, huh?
