My roommate starts doodling if a class is boring, as well. He usually starts with semi-sane random caricatures which become progressively more demented the more tired/bored he is. I don't doodle, I just space out. If there's something that I find humorous in the lecture, I might write it down and make a pun or barbed comment about it

One time in class I grabbed a spare piece of paper and drew Shoop Da Whoop, high detailed and everything. It was pretty awesome. I think I still have it too.

Silver, that looks like pretty much every page of notes I've ever taken. I habitually doodle on pretty much every piece of paper in front of me in class.
