Title: I call for a revolution.
Post by: Super on August 24, 2008, 10:17:02 PM
What we need to do is rethink our ways of thinking and redo our ways of doing things. We will never succeed and move forward if we persist in our current position. We need to rally together and form a powerful and unbreakable movement of change. We need to defeat the counter-revolutionists and mold the basis of our society on complete purity. Our enemy, PsychoYoshi, has proposed a plan to defeat our valiant efforts for the betterment of everyone. He must be stopped.

Who wants to join me in an undertaking of pure revitalization?
Who wants to join THE revolution?

WE NEED YOU.

Super has committed thoughtcrime and much worse. He will be subjected to Room 101 and re-educated to love Big Brother.

Anyone that joins in his revolution will meet the same fate.

Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin van-guarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous.

Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.

And why do you let stuff like that get to you so easily? And not seeing one movie doesn't mean that somebody is "severely uncultured."

Just because I don't go see every movie Hollywood pumps out doesn't mean I live under a rock. V for Vendetta never appealed to me, so I didn't see it. If not seeing one movie means that someone lives under a rock, then everyone I know does. I'm sure you haven't seen every movie, but does that mean you live under a rock? No, it doesn't. Even if it is  popular movie, it doesn't mean I have to go see it.

That's basically what's happening with me, because me and my friends are going to have a movie night. We're either going to see The Blair Witch Project or V for Vendetta. I really want to see The Blair Witch Project because I like horror movies.

V for Vendetta has elements of horror, psychological thriller, and a bit of dry comic relief in the form of V's classy behavior to top it all off.  Absolutely ingenius plot, brilliantly executed.

I probably would've liked it more if I saw it on a regular-sized TV, but I was on a plane, so...

It's one of those movies you either like or hate, but I thought it was entertaining.
