Without that startup disc thingy, I can't find it :( A link to a website that can help please?
This is that downstairs computer I was talking about weeks back.
And yes, I know there's a thread below me, they will probably not anwser my question, as Linkfan's just getting rid of viruses. I want to get rid of everything alltogether.
The only way I've ever known is using the start up disc.

Download a XP version, make it a bootable CD and go from there.
So download Linux, format, remove Linux?

If you reformat using linux, you're not going to have windows anymore... and if you remove linux after reformatting, you won't have ANY operating system on your hard drive...

Download Vista
Buy a new internal hard drive, take out old one (smash it) then insert new one.
