Norton sadly.  It came with the computer, so I have to use it, since we paid for a year subscription.

When I used Windows I used McAfee and Norton (not at the same time though).

With Linux I'm not using anything.

AVG is win

Though, I'm not stupid enough to download viruses and spyware, so I don't need it anyways.

I find that commercial security suites just slow things down which ironically is the thing they are supposed to prevent. So I stick with free or open source solutions

-AVG Free
-ClamWin
-A Squared Free

and Zone alarm for the fire wall, and of course Spybot spyware, and Ccleaner for the registry.

You forgot McAfree, the software that comes with like every new computer with a 3 month trial and makes your computer exit out of every window when it askes if you want to update your subscription once every 3 and a half minutes. I use AVG, because of the freeness

My mom got it because some guy at Best Buy recomended it (Thats a realiable source >_>). Whats wrong with Trend Micro anyway?

Terrible detection algorithm so it lets a lot of poop through, and it's a resource hog. Only nice thing about it is that it's cheap, and there are plenty of free antivirus programs out there that do a similar job.
