The Legend of Zelda: The Sol Medallion
Sorry for having to make a new thread... I ran out of room in the current thread (lock that one :( ). It also felt very disorganized, so I'll be remaking it from the Forest Temple up with more in-depth details about enemies, items, characters, dungeons, and bosses. Sorry for the inconvenience of having to start over, but I think you'll see that this is much better than the current one :D :D :D

After gathering the Rupees, Remy sells Link the Fishing Rod and some complimentary Worm Bait along with it.
Bosses EncounteredNone, yet.
StoryThe storyline is split up by means of Spoiler Boxes. This doesn't mean that they are spoilers, necessarily, but this is just a way to keep the seperate parts organized.
Link's Journery Begins
Quote from: ???Link...!!! Link...!!! LINK!!!!!!
After a rude awakening, Link looks out his window... To his surprise, it's Vincent, the Elder of Rimwood.
Quote from: Vincent'Bout time you woke up, lad! I need you to swing by my house for a moment. It shouldn't take too long! Meet me back there, pronto, kid!!
This is where the story begins. Go out of Link's house and go straight to Vincent's house. It is in the center of Rimwood. Enter, and you'll be greeted by Vincent.
Quote from: VincentThat took awhile! How've ya been, boy? Sorry to wake you up so abruptly, but I have an important task for you...
I need you to deliver this package to King Hyrule. Don't worry, he'll explain this when you get there. But for now, just be quick about it! Make sure you visit Neo and Cyrus, too. Oh, and I hear the Shopkeeper, Remy, is also looking for a hand.
Okay, so you've got three things to do in Rimwood. Visit Neo, Cyrus, and Remy. It doesn't matter what order, so let's visit Neo.
Neo is the blacksmith of Rimwood. His house is pretty easy to find, as he's working outside on an anvil.
Quote from: NeoWell, if it isn't my boy, Link! Vincent told me that I should be expecting you. He told me that you were gonna go deliver a package to Hyrule Castle! He wanted me to make sure you were safe during your journey, so I crafted you some weapons. Use them wisely... The infestation of monsters on Hyrule Field has increased so suddenly, and you'll need to be prepared, boy!!
Take arms, as I'll teach you the basics of fighting!! I did use to be part of the Hyrule Royal Guard, after all!
Right... So now, Neo will be teaching you how to weild a sword and shield.
Vertical Slash: Use the Attack Button to perform a simple Vertical Slash that is precise, and more useful in one-on-one fights.
Horizontal Slash: Use the Attack Button in conjunction with either Right or Left to perform a Horiontal Slash to clear out a crowd of enemies in front of you!
Stab: Use the Attack Button in conjunction with Up to perform a Stab. A deadly and precise attack that can catch opponents off guard.
Combine all three of these attacks to perform 4-hit combos!Jump Attack: While Stationary, use the Secondary Attack Button to perform a Jump Attack forward. Causes massive damage, but can leave Link vunerable if he misses.
Spin Attack: Hold in the Attack Button and unleash it upon full charge to perform a Spin Attack. Link performs a 360 degree spinning slash, which deals massive damage to all enemies in range. Can also be performed by spinning the Control Stick quickly in a circle and Attacking.
Use these attacks sparingly, as they can take some time to master!Roll: While running, press the Secondary Attack Button to roll forward. Useful for escaping, or covering ground faster.
Sidestep: While targetting, strafe sideways and press the Secondary Attack Button to perform a sidestep. Useful for dodging attacks.
Backflip: While targetting, walk backwards and press the Secondary Attack Button to perform a backflip. Useful for dodging attacks.
Side Slash: After performing a Sidestep, quickly press the Attack Button to unleash a quick slash while jumping to the side. Useful against slow enemies.
These dodging maneuvers are very useful, so take some time to master them!!Block: Press the Shield Button to perform a Block using an equipped shield. Can also be used in conjunction with strafing when targetting.
Parry: While Blocking, press the Secondary Attack Button, and Link will briefly push his shield forward. If Link is attacked during this, he will repel the attack back and follow up with a quick counter slash! Certain Attacks cannot be Parried.
Quote from: NeoWow, Link! You fight like a natural!! Maybe you can ask King Hyrule to be part of the Royal Guard, someday... Haha...
After that training with Neo, visit Cyrus. His house is next to Neo's.
Quote from: CyrusLink!! I was expecting you. I thought you could use a thing or two in the art of achery. Archery is a very important skill for one to learn, and can be very useful when mastered! I thought I could teach you the basics...
Cyrus will then give you a Wooden Bow with a Small Quiver!
Quote from: CyrusAlright, boy! Come back with me to my archery range!!
From here, Cyrus wants you to shoot down the targets that are put up in a certain time limit. After completing all this, you will then have to pick off a moving target.
After all these tasks are complete, you're done with the archery tutorial!!
Quote from: CyrusWell done, Link! You've got the eyes of a hawk!! Vincent told me about your journey, and no adventurer can go anywhere without their trusty Bow!! Use it well, my boy...!!
Okay, so now you can go visit Remy. Her shop looks somewhat like a giant tent.
Quote from: RemyLink, darling!! I need your help! Does idiots at the Hyrule Delivery Service somehow misplaced my order of Potions, and I ended up with a bunch of Fishing Rods! I've been asking people around Rimwood all day to buy my Rods, but no one cares to listen!
Since you're quite well known around here, would you be a sweetheart and buy one of my Rods? That might encourage everyone to do the exact same...
Accept this task, and go outside. Scavenge trees, grass, and other areas for Ruppees. The Fishing Rod costs 50 Ruppees, so it shouldn't be too hard to gather the money.
After gathering all your money, go back to Remy's Shop.
Quote from: RemyWhy Link, thank you so much! And just for this, I'll even throw in a free bottle of Worm Bait, no charge! Finally, maybe people will actually swing by and take these Rods off my shelves!!
Now you're done!! So head off to Hyrule Field and set off on your journey towards Hyrule castle...
And I thought the first thread was detailed... :P Great job! By the way your writing it, it could easily be made into an actual game (by Nintendo, of course, although I doubt they'd use fan work as their storyline for the next zelda game)
Wow, sorry for not a lot of updates, so far. School keeps it back, and school takes priority over this :( :(
