Ok.
I'm in a bit of a money situation.
I want Spore that comes out not too soon from now, but I also am planning on getting a bunch of new parts for my computer.
Spore costs 50 bucks, I think.
And my upgrades will probably cost around $200.
and I only have about 80 bucks right now. :\
Should I save up, or just screw it and get Spore?
I would get the upgrades.

I would get the upgrades.
The thing is, I don't
need them.
But I want them. D:
I'm planning on getting a new PSU, GPU, and (if it bottlecaps the new GPU) a new processor.
My current rig:
250 watt PSU(yeah yeah, I know it sucks)
Nvidia 8400 GS (Just on the line of being below average)
Intel Dual Core 1.6 GHz (I
REALLY don't want to mess with a new processor, but if necessary...)
What I want:
650 watt PSU (To supply those freaking monster cards we call the 9 series)
Nvidia 9600 GTS or 9800 GTX (Wont' make much of a difference, but much better than my current one)
If necessary, Intel Dual Core 2.6 GHz (Again, don't want to mess with one unless necessary)
If you're old enough, get off your lazy ass and get a job.
Otherwise, I dunno, mow your neighbors' lawns or something. Get the money yourself.
Get a job :| :| :| :| :|
Go for the upgrades, you never know when you'll actually need them.
Uh, you could always get a job. Or sell somethings you don't need.

You overuse the :| smiley more than I use the :P smiley...
Spore's supposed to run pretty well on low end machines.
I recommend you at least torrent Spore when it comes out, see how it plays. If it plays well and you like it, buy it and save up from there, or play the torrent and save.

You don't need Spore either.

Touché.
I can't afford the upgrades as of right now, but I think I might be able to after the holidays. (might be able to get a job)
Plus, Spore comes out Sunday. And as Rio told me earlier, "Spore is supposed to run really well even on low quality computers"
Go for the upgrades, as if you buy Spore now, you'll have to save more to get them.

Well aren't we a bit rash and twitchy. If he doesn't want a job, he doesn't have to get one. Probably not old enough yet to realize that fast food chains and large supermarkets will virtually hire anyone with two arms and an eye. But just because he doesn't know that doesn't mean you have to go whining out on him...
And calm down on the twitch there, Parkinsons. If a smiley is even necessary (which it's most often not), five certainly is not. Five is just downright absurd.

A rant a day keeps the idiots away I guess. =P
