Why do you all say 7-Z is so great and what's great about it other then the high compression speed and rate?
But, can it convert 7z archives into Zip's and others?
I have it, FYI.

1. It's small, easy to use, has great compression rates, doesn't have nag screens, is open-source, and isn't intercourse ing annoying.
2. Yes.
I don't really like it.
I like winrar better.

Because you're stupid.
It's small. Can be put on a flash drive. It's freeware. It does its job efficiently, can save as .rar, .zip, .7z, and something else. It doesn't nag you about some 40 day crap. It's fast. It compresses generally well. It extracts fairly fast.
And there you go.
It's a small freeware program that extracts .rar's, .zips, .7z etc. It can also extract self extracting cabinets (Not sure if the others do this or not). That really helps because when I was Installing the Zune software the cabinet didn't work for some reason.
Everything has already been said.
I only use 7zip because it isn't nagging me to buy the full version, really.
I just wish it looked better.

For like archiving (sending multiple) things in one trip.
Like 70 pics instead of sending them individually.
