Title: Cheating in games.
Post by: Tupin on September 13, 2008, 07:59:10 PM
Do you cheat in games? By that I mean use Action Replays or stuff like that when playing a game? I do only after I have beaten the game normally.

Oh, and if you use cheats and stuff like aimbots in online games, you suck.

I dont think I've used a cheat code since Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction.

I usually beat the game first before I start using cheat codes and stuff like that.

Uh, no. Unless it's something that just unlocks a secret character or item that has no actual effect on gameplay.

I don't ever since my Pokemon Blue corrupted.  I do cheat on the ROMs however, especially if it helps me rip the sprites.

At times, but usually for fun....like Paintball Mode in Goldeneye. Or bonuses in MUA.

Only games I ever cheat in are Sims and SimCity.

At summer camp, I always hid extra wads of Monopoly money behind the mirrors in the bathrooms. I didn't always use it, though, only when other people kept landing on free parking and I needed hotels for broadway.

I use Action Replays and stuff like that usually just for silly little effects that aren't really "cheating" but just goofing around.

I used to...for my Nintendo Game Cube!
It was awesome... Games like Tales of Symphonia, MK DD, Gauntlet Dark Legacy, just
to name a few was awesome. :D

I won't do it for my Wii however because I heard you can mess it up or something....

I like to try out glitches and stuff after I beat the game, but I don't use AR.

Only if the Cheats are built in.

I can't get a Gameshark or Pro Action Replay because my brother refuses to let me buy one. >_>

Only cheat in games I've beaten legitimately, or to mess around in.

I don't remember a time where I cheated...
I wouldn't mind getting an Action Replay DS though. I'd use it for Mario Kart DS. But not to be cheap, just to choose the tracks you can't normally choose.

Last time I cheated was for a car to go on a rampage in GTA:SA.  I was just too lazy to go find the car myself.

I've never used cheats to get through the storyline in a game (unless you consider intercourse ing around in the sims having a storyline lol).  I stopped cheating in The Sims though, it's more fun to struggle through poverty into the riches by mass producing gnomes xD

Cheating is amusing, I only use it after I beat a game, normally.

Sometimes it's just an impulse, like in Half-Life or Portal >_>
