Title: Inductive Reasoning (Return to sender)
Post by: Dill on September 24, 2008, 07:07:23 PM
We post a lot of NS2 threads in the chat to show our comrades what a fallen goat looks like when it is given a keyboard, so what do NS2 members do with our threads? Do they laugh at us, and our curiosity of the elligability of a fish's liquid intake? Do they steal our ideas of a camp-like event? Or in this distant culture, are my threads considered small passages from the great journal of Christ Almighty?

If any of the above, I highly recommend a reconstructure of our thread-making process. From now on, we will not be following the "Two chans bad, 4chan's good" policy, but instead the policy, adopted from Father Florida "Is this thread good for our reputation?"

Does the eye in the sky squint in laughter at your threads? Or does it look up in pondersome thought?

Idiots are everywhere its bound to happen. Just accept it as an inevitability.

Its just that this place doesn't have as much idiots as NS2.

Memes are like poison. But not just regular poison...its like poison with black specks of dirt in it with a very fowl odor. Its also the poison that kills dogs, most notably puppies, and thats just plain despicable.

In other words. Memes suck.

A typical NS2er wouldn't even be able to comprehend your post.

No, only when used irl or used a lot outside of /b/.  When a non-/b/tard is using memes, then you've also found the cancer.  The especially annoying part is when those people aren't at the least using it right or know the origin.

Such is the usual opinion of the average newfag.

Look, even on 4chan, where the poop starts, memes ruin everything. Some might be cool for a little bit, but by and large they're more harmful than helpful, and they're intercourse ing annoying.

Quit sucking moot's dick and just admit that 4chan is causing as much cancer everywhere (including on 4chan itself) as everyone else.

I'm sure there are still plenty of NS2 users that talk to each other over AIM of how "pwnsome" it would be to raid us and such.

Ask Dill. I'm not the one who made a thread about it.

Contrary to popular belief memes are not the cancer killing the internet.

Memes are in fact the mutagenic pus organ supplying the zombified corpse of the internets with sustenance.

Information Zombie Highway has come to feed on your flesh.  Throw your memes in it's path to distract it or you will not survive.

Ask Dill. I'm not the one who made a thread about it.

I will add to what Jason said about NS2 members not understanding me posts: NSF members don't understand them, either. Not once in my post did I say their opinion mattered. So, I shall translate my post into easy-to-read jargon.

People are always posting threads to NS2 in the chat, talking about how stupid the members are. So my question, which was obviously too subtle for anyone to notice, was if NS2 members post threads to FCD on their forum. I further went on to point out that if they do, you all should use it as an incentive to make better threads (because there are a lot more dumb threads than I can reason with). It actually has very little to do with memes, except for the fact that it's one of the reasons why I felt that you all should be given incentive. So, if you still don't understand, I shall list my points.

-(this addressed to members who go to NS2) do people there posts links to our threads, much like we do with theirs?
-Why don't you all try making threads as good as mine for once? I'd rather have NS2 not understand us than them understand our teeming triteness (this pointing back to the meme problem).

Personally, I don't understand how this topic ended up being about memes. It truly has very little to do with it.

At least half of NS2 doesn't even know NSF exists, and the rest don't care.  As much as some of you would love to think, they don't hang on our every post.  And I don't post threads.

Quotethey don't hang on our every post.

And this was kind of the point I was coming too (I had a strong feeling this would be true). It's true, they don't, so I wonder sometimes why members here do. If you've ever been in the chat (I've never seen you there, so I wouldn't know), it doesn't take long for some members to begin posting NS2 threads, as if we're at some sort of zoo. Quite sad, really.

QuoteAnd I don't post threads.

Which is sad, because you're one of the few members here that makes decent posts.
