Title: Favorite Kirby ability?
Post by: Doodle on October 06, 2008, 03:07:39 PM
What's your favorite ability from all of the Kirby games?
I like the Bomb and the Stone.
The Bomb is good, because it's a nice way to attack enemies from a distance.
I like the Stone ability, because it's a cheap way to kill the bosses. ^_^
Just smash into them, wait for them to move, then smash into them again. Cheap, but it works.

My favorites are the Yoyo, UFO, and bomb.

I advise you exclude the Final Abilities, (Star Rod, Master, Tri-Star, ect...) as they are overpowered.

3rd Favorite: Sword (...it's a sword...)
2nd Favorite: Smash (Familiar...)
1st Favorite: Yo-Yo

The Yo-yo and Hammer abilities from Kirby Super Star were awesome. I like Mirror and Ice too, but not quite as much.

Sword is just classic and going through the whole game with it is just so fun and it really culminates when you're put to the test against Metaknight.  Who doesn't like making this battle even more epic as you try to choreograph and vary your moves?

Burning and Fighter are decent too and as awesome as UFO is, it's only fun when you're in the mood for it.  It can feel kinda cheap sometimes but at other times you just wanna go crazy and destroy everything.

Then from the SNES hit, the bird ability.. whatever it is.  Is it BIRD?  I dunno, but it rocks.  You can do back-flips in the air as you flip enemies into the air and then zoom back at them, dive hard into the ground to create a shock-wave in both directions, zoom forward and rush an enemy, and shoot a flurry of DEADLY FEATHERS!  Beam ability rocked in this game too, as did everything else, haha.

Double Fire was pretty sweet in the N64 Kirby game too.  So was Dynamite, Fireworks, and the Double Electric.
