Title: Internet Connection Problem
Post by: BOSSNIG on October 10, 2008, 03:43:28 PM
Big problem. For a while now if I try to connect to an IRC channel through Trillian or Pidgin, Torrent, or some other things, my internet just cuts off. I've tried running virus scans, turning off my firewall, etc. Nothing seems to work. If anyone has any idea how I could fix this I could use the help :3.

Umm, that's really weird. The one thing I had to do was to allow Pidgin to access the internet by editing my firewall settings, but it seems you already have access, so, I'm not at all sure.

Well, I'm messing around with some settings in my firewall that might cause this.

Zone Alarm. Don't even tell me that it sucks. Long story short, I use a family computer.

Try turning off Zone Alarm and then try it.
