My first game was LoZ, but..I dont remember it much at all. I only remember the gold cartridge, and walking around in the mountains, thats it. But my real love for Zelda came when I got OoA and OoS, I fell in love with those games, they took up most of my childhood, I still play them today..well...not OoA anymore..it wont turn on!! NOOOOO, and OoA was my favorite of the 2..Then I went to play LADX, than I bought OoT used "I was like 9, I didnt know it was greatest game ever and I HAD to get it lol" I still remember when I couldnt find the kokiri sword and I went into the sacred forest meadow, beat the wolfo, with a deku stick and deku nuts lol, and thought the sword was on the teleport pad in front of the Forest Temple. Now I know I seem stupid, but you gotta admit, me being nine, and getting through the Lost Woods, and the SFM, without a sword, is pretty darn good. I also remember not beating it until 3 years later cause I was afraid of the Beamos in Dodongos Cavern, the Redeads, so it took me a year to beat BoW, and Shadow Temple, I even skipped the Shadow Temple and beat the Spirit Temple first lol. So ya OoT left me with fond memories...but it also scared me as a child so I think more fond memories of OoA and OoS.
ALttP, I borrowed from my aunt and me and my sister would play it all the time until we had to return it, a friend loaned it to me (along with Mario RPG and Super Metroid) back in like 5th grade and here it is over 10 years later and I still have them
Ocarina of Time, also the first video game I ever played.
LttP. Back when LttP was old, and OoT was around the corner. I remember when I used to throw the controller at the wall in frustration from Death Mountain! But my true Zelda experience came when I played MM.
...good times, good times.
I love MM!, I remember my parents renting it when I had my tonsels out. I loved the game so much, I could never buy it though, until like 2 years later when my Mom got it for me used, I was so happy lol, But i only beat it a little over a year ago. I just didnt have the patience or time to get through the Great Bay Temple.
ALTTP. Still my favorite.
Probably Ocarina of Time.
I would never do anything though. I would just play to mess around in the forest.
The farthest I would ever go was into that creepy tree.
The first Zelda.
I'm hardcore. XD
Then ALTTP then OoT then MM... XD
The Legend of Zelda.
Ocarina of Time was the first one I played, but I only played it whenever I went to my cousin's house; the first one I owned was Wind Waker.
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening when I was 7 or 8.
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past & Four Swords. (I haven't played any others.)
I've had it since middle school, for my GBA: SP, and I still can't beat it!
Ocarina of Time was the first one that I distinctly remember, though I might have played A Link to the Past very briefly when I was very young.
I MAY have played the original first but I don't remember. If it wasn't the NES one then it would definitely have to have been LTTP which I hold very fond memories of. What an amazing game.
I think it was A Link to the Past. Took me forever to beat that. I wonder why, too. It doesn't seem very hard anymore.
Either link to the past or OoT i cant remeber
I think it might have been Link's Awakening. :P
Wind Waker, for a long time, I thought Zelda was poop, then I decided to play a little Wind Waker, then I thought it was the poop, it kicked ass. Then my friend let me borrow his LoZ GC thing (where it has a bunch of old Zelda games) and played OoT, but that's not important here.
Majora's Mask. I didn't get into the franchise until I was at Sears one day and they had a kiosk for it.
Oracle of Seasons. I rented it but I should have started a new file since I was confused as to what I was supposed to do next.
Ocarina of Time.
Beat over 300 times.
First really was ALttP on the GBA, but the game taht really got me into the series was TWW.
Oot.
Before that game came out, I didn't even know about Zelda. Shit, when I saw an advertisement for OoT in a Walmart catalog, I thought Link... was one of Santa's Helpers.. >.>.. *cough*
1994, I was 5 years old! I got a SNES and I plaid the Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past! First Zelda game I played and beat! Sort of my favorite one!
Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening...........
IMO, best game boy game ever.
Select Glitch cheat ftw!!
OoT for me.
I tried playing ALTTP on VC, but I can't even get past getting out of the village. XD
Ocarina of Time.
Though I played older games later on when I became more of a fan.
...Twilight Princess.
I feel so ashamed...
Hey, I have OoT, so don't get all in a huff.
Ocarina of Time. I fell in love with it right away, and beat it in a week or two. Still one of my favorites to this day.
The original.

Aw snap!
My first game that I ever played, just first over all and first LOZ was The Legend of Zelda *YOU GUESSED IT* Ocarina of Time.
After playing this game for the first time when I was 6, I became overly addicted and obsessed with becoming the best at the game.
Probably something on that LoZ bonus disc for the gamecube.
