Title: MLA... garbage
Post by: HTA! on October 29, 2008, 03:38:07 PM
I need to write ( :() an MLA outline... however there's a problem.

It works like this as you all know...

I- line 1
     A- line 2
          1- line 3
a- line 4 and so as you can see when the
potato is divided by a square of 64...

The problem is, lets say my (a) line exceeds the margins like it does above... I need to line the extra text up with the (a) but simmply hitting tab moves the entire section... any ideas?

What program are you using to type this? If microsoft word, there are little markers on the ruler that you can drag to set the margin for a specific paragraph

Oops. multitasking not good for grammar. :(
And I fixed it apparently...
You have to hit enter on the line before it so that tab will specify a line. :(
