Hey all, this for all those FE Fans.
This is a list of all the units you should train and take into the tower of guidance at the end of the game.
Here it goes:
Ike: Well, you would be stupid to NOT level him up..... I just wouldn't waste any caravan EXP. on him. Considering he doesn't promote until Part 4....
Weapon to use in the tower: Isn't it obvious? Well, Ragnell.
Edward: This unit can become the best Trueblade in the game. I recommend you promote him to swordmaster before Part 1 ends. And give him some very good swords before he gets Caladbolg.
Weapon to use in tower: Alondite. He is worth it.
Zihark: The second best Trueblade. Even though he's a little average in strength, his speed and skill make up for it. I would suggest making him a Trueblade ASAP. And give him a brave sword. Also, give him the Paragon skill.
Weapon to use in twoer: Vague Katti. If you found stefan in part 4 chapter 3, give his SS sword to Zihark.
Ilyana: Even though she's very weak once you get her, with patience she can become the best sage in the game. Just give her a forged tome, and you are good.
Weapon to use in Tower: Rexbolt. Muston gives it to you as an info conv. It is also extremely useful against Dighensea.
Boyd: Well, he DOES have the highest strength in the game... I would make him a Reaver REAL quick.
Give him a Nihil too.
Weapon to use: Urvan. With Nihil, Boyd can own the Goddess with ease.
Nolan: This guy may be a hassle at the start, but upgrade him to reaver and he will destroy.
Weapon to use: Tarvos. Since Urvan is with boyd, Tarvos is the next best thing.
Nephenee: Before I barely used her, but the last time I played through with her. She is a critical whore. Upgrade her to sentinel as soon as intercourse ing possible.
Weapon to use: Wishblade. You get it if you beat Zelgius' Sentinel friend in part 4 endgame (2)
Just avoid the Black Knight, while you friends get Wishblade.
Titania: She has always been really good in fights. And she can pull off Sol more than anyone. Which becomes very useful.
Weapon to use: Forged Silver Axe. Even if she sucks when fighting the goddess, she can still own before that. :P
Gatrie: If you can get him to marshall, he is defensive SOB. Nothing can hurt him practically.
Weapon to use: Forged Silver lance: What can I say, he owns with it.
Shinon: By far, the best archer in the game. Get him to Marksman quickly. Being able to shoot from three spaces could save your ass. also give him a Nihil.
Weapon to use: Double Bow. You get it in Endgame (1) from the Sniper that is behind Hetzel.
He destroys when Fighting the goddess.
Pelleas: When starting a new game over a game that you have already beat. An option comes up when Pelleas choose to die. Refuse his command, and he fights along side you. He may be weak at the start, but get him to arch sage and he can own with Dark magic.
Weapon to use: Balberith. This SS dark tome can be found when you kill Izuka in part 4 chapter 5.
Michaiah: She can be a ninny to promote at start, (Considering she has a fixed promotion time like Sothe and Ike) I would level her up until she promotes. She can become very useful. Give her the discipline skill and a paragon. and give her many Weapon level up scrolls.
Weapon to use: Rexura: you get it when you kill Lekain in end game (1)
Sothe: Even though he's lacking in the strength department, His speed and skill are very high.
I would level him up. He promotes at the end of part 4 prologue.
Weapon to use: If you can find Baselard in Part 4 chapter 3, then use that. But if not, give him Vole's Peshkatz. The best throwing knife in the game.
So there you have it. If you have any questions about this feel free to post below. :)
I should go and beat RD. :(

You still havn't beat it yet?!
Damn...
well, GO BEAT IT.
..and use this guide to help you. ^_^
come on, I know there are more FE fans here....
I spent a while typing this... :(
I erased my data. :(
I am already using these guys mostly...
Boyd and Nolan are my favorites, but Gatrie, Shinon, Nephenie and Tormod are close runner ups (Not sure how he'll turn out... already gave up on Ilyana.)

nolan is actually one of the worse ones to take in.
Well for me anyways....
My defense and strength were both in thier twenties.
And got raped by the goddess... :P
But boyd equals awesome.
Trust me, level up Edward and Ilyana.
They are both great when in thier third tiers.
I find Tormod pretty useless, since you never really get to use him a whole lot....
That was... wow.

good wow or bad wow?
I was bored, and beat RD again, so I figured I might share some of my strategies.
I agree with some and disagree with others. I prefer to take Haar in there and give him Urvan since he gets more movement and whenever I use him he maxes out most of his stats. Jill is also helpful but Haar seems better seeing as he starts off higher and still gets good. Plus, Jill killed Ike with Stun when I was at 79 kills.

I think Boyd is better using Urvan.
Because of his 40 stat str.
plus he has I think 36 sp. and 35. skill.
Which are pretty great odds... :P
Don't get me wrong, Haar is a great unit.
But for some reason, he always gets himslef killed in the tower....
But nephenee owns all.

Well that is a given. I just prefer Haar because he is easier to level up and has a good movement. I don't remember his speed and skill but they were pretty good. Boyd has the best strength in game of course. All I can say to that is that I'm glad he wasn't in Brawl :O. Also, no Meg?! ;)
Hm. I'll have to keep this guide in mind when I get around to playing Radiant Dawn.
...I still haven't tried it, yet I have it. Does that make me a bad Fire Emblem fan? ;_;

yeah, I used to bring haar in as a level 20 Dragonlord.
Fricken Dheginsea would always somehow pull off his critical and kill him. DX
But we
all know that meg is the best....

Seriously dude, start playing it. It's one of the better Wii games out there and one of the best fire emblem games. Once you get you're units to 3rd tier, you'll sit back and laugh at how you're team utterly destroys the enemy. XD

Yes sir. :(
Man, I really need to get to the tower. I'm like, 3 levels away. Just too lazy to do anything. D:
Is Ilyana really that good? I always found her pretty trashy. If she is as good as you say, it sucks that I'm already too far in the game to really make anything out of her. Soren should work fine for me though.

soren's okay...
If you fully level her up she destroys.
Once you beat, play it again, and keep this guide in mind. :P
Best FE's?
Hardly.
I beat the game, and my final team was relatively small.
Boyd, Ike, Harr (amazing), Soren, Gatrie, Shinon, Skrimir, Lion King, Tibarn, and abut 2-3 others who I either can't remember or were just meat shields.

Ha that was basically me except I didn't keep Skrimir. I used Naesala instead, he activates Tear half the time and while not a tank can still hold his own.

He gets Half-shift near the end if I remember (Or I was using Giffca's Laguz Gem) and I used him as a hit and run type guy with Lion King on the annoying White Dragons. D:
They were also pretty helpful on Ashera's Shield since their HP is astronomical.
