Kind of random, but it was weight room day in gym today, so I decided to ask.
I'm a scrawny little guy. I can only bench the bar...which is 45 lbs... :D
How much can you bench?
Uh, not all that much. All my muscle is in my legs, because I run. Still, couldn't tell you, as I never bench. :x
the bar
I missed my swim team's last max out day, but I can do 3 sets of 8 reps of 140 pounds (the bar plus 47.5 pounds on each side). Max I can prolly do like...160.
A toothpick. The strength is all in my legs, and if I run at full speed, I have to stop and catch my breath after 10 seconds.
In other words: I suck.
I have stronger lower body strength, so I can only press around 50-55 pounds.
Um, probably not much. I've never bothered to find out.
I can bench press a car!!
Ooooah! *flexes*
About as much as I care about it.
Hell if I know. Probably more than all my friends.
I can bench the bench

Hey, you're back.
I've got more power in my thighs and legs... but I'm fairly sure I could bench 100 easily.
Probably an overstatement though... I will find out in a few weeks or so.
Last time I did it, I did 170 pretty easily.
I bet I could do alot more now, considering that those were last year results.
All my muscle strength is in my upper body.
I can't run for poop DX
i never got the opportunity to. Probably not much. I'm a musician not an athlete.
About 60-80 I'm guessing.
Don't know, don't care.
I'm scared to bench. olol
I've heard so many stories that I'm now paranoid of bench pressing.

We're supposed to have spotters that hold the bar after you're done. But there's always one person who isn't paying attention. So it always goes lopsided and almost falls, so that's kind of scary... :P
My old school couldn't afford weight rooms (although other school in the district had weight rooms X_X) so I had never done weight room before in my life when I moved here. I was benching the bar, which I don't know how much it weighs, plus about 15 on both sides.
so meh.
If everyone has strength in their legs, than how much can y'all squat?
50lbs. I NEVER bench.
~90 lbs. I'm a super special awesome sprinter though.

Our bars are 45, but some are lighter.
I think I can max squat like 200. I'll find out Tuesday. ::)
I've never actually done a Bench press.
Screw upper body strength, DDR for the win~
90ish. Upper body...no.
But I can sprint. I can run the 55m maybe in a 6.8/6.7 on a good day.
I haven't really bothered.
However, I CAN leg press 250 pounds at 13 reps. Could probably rep a max of over 300.
Need that leg power for all the ravines and steep hills that I'll be navigating on the first week of December during Deer Season! I don't, however, need chest stregnth of all things. If I can haul my gear on my back and that I'm wearing, and my arms can hold my gun easily and take the pressure, then I'm good.
Yes, Iowa isn't either all flat or lightly rolling hills. It can have fairly harsh terrain. Notice I said fairly.
I bench like 125lbs. at 3 sets of 10 reps, but I don't really work out very much. Unfortunately I don't know how much I can leg press because the leg press machine at my school only goes up to 505lbs. which I can do a lot of reps on[I usually do 3 sets of 15 reps at that if and when I work out]
