Title: PETA, this accomplishes nothing.
Post by: Tupin on November 17, 2008, 03:37:56 PM
Seriously. Making a bloody parody of Cooking Mama in a flash game in hopes of people angrily emailing Majesco to make a vegetarian Cooking Mama isn't the best use of an international cooperation's money and time.

What's next, are they going to go after every movie that shows someone eating a steak or something? They are NEVER going to stop people from using animal products, so why don't they just stop stuff that's within a realm of possibility, like preventing house pet abuse instead of trying to rewrite thousands of years of human behavior?

They should be sued for copyright infringement.

I know people that are vegetarian,  and they don't care if other people eat meat, they just don't eat it. I actually was vegetarian for a little while. But that was for a personal reason.

PETA is an organization of veggie-terrorist-bastard extremists. Anyone who supports them needs to be kicked in the vagina and raped beyond oblivion.

Does anyone remember that guy who wrote to Nintendo Power talking about the Bloody M-Rated Cooking Mama?

This is the closest he'll ever get.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever seen.

Wow, at least the blatant Mario spoof they made to protest KFC was actually fun in some weird way.

Silly PETA, activism is for the sane.

That's hilarious. Vegetarians need their own titles!

I must say. I felt quite fulfilled chopping that turkey's neck in three.

Lol, I saw this.
Though I have to admit, shaping the tofoo(sp?) was fun.

Lol, it was pretty fun to rip out that turkey's organs, that game was funny. I think this is the opposite of what those vegitarian extremists are trying to get people to think.

Yeah, it actually made me hungry.  :P

I also love how they pre-filled out emails to Majesco for people to send to them. They realize that they'll just shut down that address, right? Plus, unlike with that KFC game, this actually uses a copyrighted logo of a company protected under an organization to prevent these types of things, so they're getting sloppy.

I honestly have hated PETA from the start.  It's a rather ironic name.  People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals my ass

They don't believe we should have pets, and kill most of the animals they get in shelters.

They really think making a bloody parody of Cooking Mama is really going to get to make people go vegan?
Really, they must have been wasting time then.

You see, like you said Tuppy, they don't often think in the realm of possibility.

saw it on /f/

I actually thought it was a spoof at first until I noticed the PETA logo. Regardless, it was a pretty lame flash game.
