Okay, this was really weird, so on second period (geometry), we usually receive a speech in the speakers around the school to salute the flag, but something weird happened, before the speech could start, the Final Fantasy Victory Theme played on the speaker and everybody stared at the speaker and laughed after that.
That was just weird. But I smiled after hearing that. ;)
So, have you seen video games on your school?
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyy that's my ring tone.
Lat year there was a kid that would play Pokeman during Global. And he isn't a "nerd" he is actually a pretty funny kid.
Uhh... I can't think of anything like that at the top of my head.
The only thing that is close to that is getting Rick Roll'd at school. ::)
Uh, our school hosts tournaments and such to fund raise for different things. We've done Brawl, Guitar Hero, Halo Trial (lol), etc.
Most of our teachers play at least one of the varying titles.
Last year we had at least 3 GH3 tournaments and the year before that we had a Mario Kart 64 tournament.
There's a DDR tournament as part of the school Olympics every year.
Someone also went into a class dressed as Rick Astley and rickrolled it. I think it was AP Biology or something.
Our school's website featured a Haruhi cosplayer at one point.
...that's all I got :(
My school had a GH3 tournament... That was about it..
My school isn't like you guys. To them, the internet is pretty much some instant messenger, Myspace or Facebook, Youtube, Google, and flash games. They wouldn't really get any of that.
But that's kind of weird. I would just stare if my school did something like that.
But I wish my school would host a Mario Kart Wii, Brawl, or some other Nintendo game tournament. I would probably destroy pretty much all of them. ^_^
my school used to have "wii wednesdays" where they'd let anyone try wii tennis :\
also, at lunch on tuesdays and thursdays we can go to the counselor's office and play ssbm.
also, one time for "culture fair" (there's nothing to do with any cultures, you just go around and buy over priced food :\) you could pay to play gh3 at britain's stand... ddr at japan's stand... :|
Well, there were some video games like GH and DDR at the last day bash at school last year.
We had a video game club last year. It was fun, but my DDR pads were wrecked because of it.

I don't know. I didn't stick around for long. Culture fair sucks.
>_>
I wish our school had a culture fair. The closest thing we have is International Dinner Night and that usually sucks.
We have a Gaming club, but it revolves around tabletop games rather than video games. We occasionally play Rock Band and Soul Calibur if someone brings it in...
Halo day, plus a 360 in the office.
My university is holding a Guitar Hero tournament with a $100 cash prize.
I'm entering, of course.
GTech (my college) is holding some basic tourneys, I don't know if there is a Brawl one or not so I probably won't go.
My high school played nothing but Halo and Gears of War cuz it wuz "teh poopz". Yea, my high school is nothing but idiots...
Er...they played the theme again... :D
well every friday i have study hall which is every other friday/ today. i bring in a video game of some type and pwn everybody, so far we've done gh and ssbm
Once or twice a week, this guy who hangs out in one of the English classrooms brings in the Wii or 360 (more often than not, the Wii) and we play it during lunch. It's usually SSBB, and there are about 4 to 8 people playing/wanting to play. It's fun.
... No :'(
