I played a plethora of games today, and it was fun. On my list was Balderdash, Scrabble, Things, and of course, Monopoly.
It is great fun to play games as such with friends and family, and I wanted to know what your personal favorites are? Mine is a tie between Clue and Balderdash.
Also, are you asking for any board games for Christmas/etc? I am asking for Scrabble, my old set is nearly destroyed.
Discuss the wonders of board games.
my favorite is don't whiz on the electric fence
eels and escalators is pretty cool too though
I'd have to say Eels and Escalators. It's just that fun. ;D
You people and your Spongebob & Ren & Stimpy.
My favorite is probably Life or Monopoly.
Monopoly is always a classic, so that's my choice. Clue comes in second, though.
Definitely Monopoly, could be because I always win, but wither way it's fun. And last year(or the year before) I got a Nintendo Monopoly, haven't gotten to playing it because one of my friends hates Monopoly. It's because he sucks at it.
Risk is pretty good too, I've haven't played it enough to know how good I am, and Scrabble. I suck at that though, still fun.
Mine? Risk or Monopoly.
I like the games where you could play for 8 hours and everybody is still playing.
"Plethora." lol
Anyways, I'm so jealous of those bastards that got to play board games with you.
I'm going to have to say Monopoly. It's pretty fun.
My second would be The Simpsons Clue. Smithers has a maid, lol.
I have buckets full of board games down in my basement. I should get everyone in my family to play them sometime...
Catan beats all other board games.
period.
candy land brings back awful repressed memories
I'm a Stratego guy myself.
Also, question. Does anybody know the name of the board game that's kind of electronic, where you're like in a space station and have to stop this supercomputer from blowing up/taking over the world (I forgot which)? Like it would talk to you and stuff as you moved. Your pieces look like chess pawns. God, this is killing me.
Trivial Pursuit is somewhat of a tradition when we have family over.
I play Dungeons & Dragons tabletop with my friends. We're starting what will be my third campaign soon...once our party finally gets together >_>
I also enjoy Scrabble. I used to love Sorry and Trouble! but I never got many people to play with me :(
Monopoly, scrabble, stratego, and uno
Clue and Scrabble. Monopoly is just ok to me. No appeal really.
I was seriously gonna make a thread like this. o_O
My absolute favorite board game has to be SCATTERGORIES.
The game makes you think, get creative, and is even more fun when you have a bunch of people playing.
It's also fun to hear everyone's responses.
Oh yeah, I can't forget about Bull Shit.
I never play board games.
Risk, Scene It!, or... eels and escalators

I love that game. My answers are always ridiculous, though.
Monopoly, Scrabble, Candyland, or life. BTW I fail at life =O
I like monopoly cause as soon someone cheats everyone starts laughing x] Also no one ever knows how to play monopoly the right away exept me cause I did a project about how many people play monopoly the wrong way.
I also like clue cause I never win but its always fun to spend time with friends.
Yeah its always fun to play board games with friends and family

Does DDR count as a Board game?
No, you giant weeaboo faggot.
I haven't played any board games in quite a while, but I like Scrabble because I'm awesome at it, Clue because it's fun, and Monopoly.
Life and Sorry are fun too.
I'm surprised nobody else said D&D.
;_;
Unless I'm just rolling low search checks
Quelf
Scrabble
Risk
Scattegories
Board Games usually get me bored, pun not intended.
Unless it's two people, the pressure is on and a lot of thinking is involved. It also needs to be somewhat quick-paced for me to stay interested.
So I'm a Chess and Lord of the Rings-Stratego player.

No, you giant weeaboo faggot.
Was that really necessary?
Maybe not, but you should be insulted for trying to call DDR a board game.
