Daisy, IMO is not worthy enough to be in Smash.

There are much worthier characters, such as,
Toad, Bowser Jr., Birdo even, and Geno for his immense popularity.

Daisy has not established herself in the Mario franchise except for the fact that she's just  a tomboy princess who shows up to parties and sporting events.

The only character she really has leverage over is Waluigi.

I don't think Toad really has a chance. With him being Peach's B move and all. Plus, you can't really think of a move set for him.

Actually, Peach and Daisy are really different, not just by their personalities.

I never said Toad had a bigger chance. I said he was worthier. Plus Sakurai wouldn't have to think that hard for a moveset for him. (Fox, Captain Falcon anyone?)

You can't really say Daisy is different from Peach. Daisy hasn't established herself in the franchise except for being a damsel in distress in one game. The only real distinction I can think of is that Daisy is a tomboy while Peach is girlier.

I honestly wouldn't mind if she WAS in.

I would just like Waluigi to get in before she did.

There are other characters I want more than her like Bowser Jr. and Dimentio. I think Daisy would be good, but I don't want her in because there are other I want in more.

Daisy is a filler character in the Sports and Party games. She is undeserving in my eyes. As is Waluigi. Toad is unlikely. Geno might get in. Dimentio is in one game and is a good Paper Mario rep, but he's unlikely. Bowser Jr. might get in.

IMO, Bowser Jr. is the most likely Mario rep.
I think Toad or Geno would be next in line.

Dimentio, extremely unlikely. The only person from the Paper Mario franchise getting in, is the man himself. I doubt anybody else would be in if PM was in at all.

Daisy, I do agree with you there as well. She only is slightly worthier than Waluigi (which isn't very worthy).

And regarding Toad, he's mainly been portrayed more as the guy who gives helpful hints from the sidelines as he cheers everyone on.  But I think it's time for that to end.  He's been way too imortant to the Mario series to be left out of Brawl, and I think he deserves a chance to regain his popularity in the Mario series.

I didn't mean to say that Birdo should be in.

I meant that a character like Birdo which has been a boss in the Mario series as well as a member of sports and party games deserves to be in Brawl over Daisy.

In my opinion, the chances for the Mario characters goes as follows:

Bowser Jr. > Geno > Toad > Birdo > Daisy > Waluigi

I gotta go with the crowd. Daisy should stay a costume.

Peach could get her move's tweaked to accomadate her emotions from Super princess Peach, And Daisy some quick martial arts. She's brutal in Mario strikers: charged and the two can differ. But, judging from Lucas, a Ness clone has arrived. Who was in Mother 3. Assumingly only 3. There are a few undeserving characters in SSBM. Ice climbers..? Pichu..? Blech. Ice climbers even made a return.

So, if shes in, cool, there is reason, but I won't freak if she isn't..

Yes, yes, we all know Sakurai could make a moveset for almost anyone. But having a possible moveset does not guarantee that a character is in. There are a couple of things you must factor in: Importance, Popularity, etc. Daisy has nothing but popularity. She hasn't been important in any Mario game since she was a damsel-in-distress. Since then, all her appearances were as a filler character in party or sports game. Although many clamor for her, she has very little chance of making it.

I actually agree with you on Toad. He deserves to be in Brawl as more than an attack. However, he is Peach's B-attack. Thus, it's unlikely that he'll make it. Don't tell me that there are more than one Toad. It wouldn't work. We might as well let in a generic Goomba. Sadly, though I want Toad in, he's unlikely.

For the love of all that is good, I hope that doesn't happen.

maybe peach's toad could be just a toad but the character would be the toad

I suppose that there is more than one Toad, but if that is so, how can there be a "The Toad"
