Nintendo is changing their official logo from red to gray.

Well, this certainly makes the logo stand out less. It also makes it boring.
It's been either-or on their products, so it doesn't bother me much.
Meh. It's not as ugly as the new pepsi logos. (http://www.underconsideration.com/brandnew/archives/pepsi_new_bottles.php)

I like the design of the bottle, just not the logo.

Apparently, it's been in planning for a while.
I love how all electronics these days HAVE to be white or black. What happened to the days when they made clear Gameboys and purple GCNs?
The gray is bland, an obvious reference to the kinds of the games they've been making for the past 3 years. Amirite or amirite?

Well, at least the DS is still getting decent treatment.
If it weren't for that lovable little beast, I would agree with you. Although, almost all of the best titles on the DS have been third party...
Do they really have to do that?
I mean, we all know it's Nintendo whether it's red or gray. The gray just looks nicer with some products.

Yeah, it will be nice, as long as they keep the color scheme for their consoles and packaging white. :|
Didn't they do this to R.O.B. before?
It's.....ok.
It looks ok for the wii/ds, but for the rest........
edit: It's already gray on the Wii box.
gray goes with the white packaging and stuff better or something like that
If Nintendo is keeping their things white like the DS and Wii it's better off that way. Who would want this childish red on the Wii remote or whatnot. Maybe if it was more of a badass red like what is usually associated with the PS3 then maybe.
I think it only works for the Wii. So...I've gotten used to it.

Agreed.
Eh, it's not a huge deal to me. Sure it's bland, but at least they're not changing the logo design itself. If they did that...;_;
They've been using the gray logo for years...
