Is an 80 Gig Ipod a good price for 120 dollars?

It's 80 gigs. You could fit 3.8 of my previous porn collection on it.

In other words, go for it.

3.8 percent or 3.8 times? There's a very distinct difference.

Considering that I spent over $200 on that, because I bought it like two years ago, yeah that's a pretty good price.

Just make sure you actually need a lot of space.

There is only one flaw with that deal: It's an iPod.

Please explain how that's a flaw. I'm just an average iPod user who's been completely satisfied with his purchase and has never had any problems at all with it.

It's just that ipods are usually overpriced and you can get like a zune or another mp3 16gig for the price of like a 2 gig ipod

I'd much rather have the click wheel and iPod software, not to mention iTunes.

And by the way, you're pretty much completely wrong on the prices. The current lowest GB iPod that's not a poopty shuffle is the 8GB Nano, which is only $10 more expensive than the 8GB Zune. Wow, $10 is so much! I can't even gas up my car on that. Nobody can.

And what's more, the 80GB iPod Classic is still $250, whereas the 80GB Zune is $230. Still only a $20 difference?

The prices are almost the same, to the point where they shouldn't even be considered much of a reason to buy one over the other. If you're going to get a Zune, it should be because you use Windows primarily (no compatibility with OS X that I'm aware of) and that you actually like the software and non-click-wheel thingy and such.

Point: Zune fanboys suck, iPod fanboys suck, Zen fanboys suck, all of you GTFO or explain yourselves before bashing something.

Definitely go for it. That's a really good deal. Bought mine last xmas for over $200. Never disappointed me. I even dropped it in snow once, but it's still working. Just makes sure you get a screen protector; the screen is like cling film, it scratches really easily.

If you want an iPod, then get it. I'm just going to say that my brother has an iPod, and he got it for free with his Macbook, and he still likes my Sansa over his iPod.

sounds like a fair price.
