NSFCD

Alright, the Smash board is nearly dead, and so just to instill some life to this board... I suggest a new Brawl Ladder("NSFCD Brawl Ladder v2"). Unlike the last ladder that got way to chaotic and unorganized, I will make sure this one doesn't... and if for some reason I am not able to make updates, I will have someone take over of how ever long is required. Anyways, I have permission, or have had permission from Mackormoses to set this up for quite awhile, so before I do, I would like to see how many people are up for this, and how many are not.

Here the choices,

1. Brawl Ladder using a numbering rank system. This is where you compete for the top of the ladder or number one spot. You may challenge one of the two people ahead of you on ladder, if you win, you take the spot... if you lose, you stay where you are, and then you must wait a day before challenging anyone else.

Example
1. Dawei
2. HTA
3. Ridley
4. Star
5. Matt
6. Someguy
7. Darklink
and so forth. Please note that the names aren't in any particular order.

2. Brawl Ladder using a Character system. This is where people will compete for a character's spot, in a ditto match of the chosen character's spot, winner of the match takes or keeps the spot... if the challenger loses, they must must wait a day before challenging anyone else.

Example
Pit - StarWindWizard
Diddy - Mackormoses
Luigi - Gameree
ROB - Ridley
and so forth. Please note that the names were placed with random characters.

Yeah, you still have my approval. It's about time we start up with this again. I'm thinking doing it by character would be interesting....but realistically, we don't have the activity, so I'll go with the standard "Who is Best" one.

Also, this gives me reason to put Brawl in for the first time in a month plus. Joy.

Like Mack said, we don't really have the activity to do a character based one, but I'll participate in anything that is made.

I haven't played very many members from here in a long time.

To other people voting, here is a thought... it is true that activity is key for the character system, though from what I have seen, it is more appealing to other brawlers, thus not only is there a steadily increase in activity, but in new members as well.

Sure, it'd give me a good reason to get active here again

Yeah, a great idea to keep the smash board active, i go for the standard, who is better ladder.

I'm tempted to just end the poll and go with the normal ladder... I mean as of now number system is ahead 7-1.

And 1 for "No, because of Dawei I have no faith in Brawl ladders.".

This sounds like a sound idea to me, as long as it is organized enough and there is someone(s) willing to be active enough in this to keep the system updated any and every time there is a change until we begin to get a good idea of where every stands.

And it's "Gamree" not "Gameree", people.  Come on, it's not that hard!  >.<

Apparently, you're not the only one.  Everyone's been doing that lately...  Bah Humbug...

If we do this, I'm willing to reconfigure my Wii to work for the Internet again.

Is it decided that we go with the numbered rank system? If so I will lock this and the ladder thread should be up within 2-4 days.

Yeah, 8-2-1 sounds good.

I think just a normal ladder would be better than a character one. We just dont have enough people.

But I deffs want in on this when it starts.

Alright, 2-4 days till the grand opening of the ladder... hopefully.
