NSFCD

As I'm sure some of you know, I've had plans of hosting a series of mini tournaments during Christmas break. These would be little events, with say, 8 players in each. Some, such as Resistance, MoH, etc could set up rooms or have larger events.

So, would you be game for this? And what other titles, say Metroid Prime Hunters, would you want to have in this little thing?

What would you want for a prize? And when does your Winter Break start and end?

Yeah, just tell me how to run this.

Medal of Honor Heroes 2 for sure. MKWii also. But MoHH2, I'm there.

Break is 23rd to Jan 1st I think.

Yeah, last year on Christmas we had a MoH room up, and I think it'd be cool to do that again.

Why do you have games like World at War listed for the Wii?  Depending on the game and when it's being run, I would join.

Because World At War is a Wii game?

I'd participate in a Pokemon D/P(If I can find both my DS and Diamond game), SSB:Brawl, Mario Kart Wii(Even though I don't own it, yet), or Halo 3 a tournament(If I finally decide to set up Xbox Live).

The only ones I CAN participate in are Mario Kart DS, Wii, and Brawl. I could play in a MPH tournament, but I suck at that game. :P
Also, my break starts the 22nd. First day back is the 5th.
A prize could be a Wii Points card. Or maybe some sort of special rank for a period of time.

Make sure there's a Mario Kart Wii or Mario Kart DS tournament, too! >:(

TF2 should be a definite if there's the NSFCD server.  D/P would be nice.  Brawl is a must.  Mario Kart DS was being asked for.  Mario Kart Wii would be cool.  I'll also pick Halo Trial and Halo 3 because I can.

I would DEFINITELY join a MK:Wii tourney.

I could try a MK:DS, Brawl, and Strikers Tourney even though I suck tremendously at all three.

There should definitely be a TF2 tourney even though I don't own it.

I don't have MK: Wii, and i'm not that into Brawl anymore.

Imagine a Mario Kart Wii tourney, with 12 people on Wi-Fi, that would be one heck of a tourney. :D

For Strikers, we have 6 so far. We could do a Round Robin.

12 Mario Kart Wii players from here playing...now that would be intense.

I only have MKDS and Pokemon Pearl, since I live in a house that doesnt encourage the use of gaming consoles as fun.

Guitar Hero is a possibility, especially if PY and Silver play.

I would suggest adding CoD4 to the list, simply because I feel it is better than World at War.
But I'll play both, and Halo, and Smash if you can get them organized.

I could even set up the CoD side of things since that's my specialty on Live.

It would have to be before Christmas Day for me to participate, I'm going on a week long trip afterwords.

What's this?  An MKWii tourney calling to my ears?  The Green Mage answers the call!  Wouldn't take it 100% serious on account of crazy items, but it would be one heck of a race.  Count me in, along with maybe a few of the others.

Either of the Mario Karts or TF2 would be great.

You can hook up Wii with an Ethernet cable, as long as you have the adapter.

and I'm at college and they require a log-in to use their wireless, and since the Wii doesn't connect to the internet WITHOUT getting a clear connection test, it wouldn't matter. stupid Nintendo for having a poopty system.

This is where the USB Connector is helpful x3

LittleBig Planet or Resistance 2 would be good for me...
I don't have many games for the PS3 that are big online stuff...


BTW, in case anyone is wondering Playstation HOME is TERRIBLE...

MK Wii and Brawl are both in. Along with that, we have enough for a Round Robin of Strikers, so it is in.

Would any of these be on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day? I go to my grandma's Christmas Eve and hang out with family most of the time on Christmas Day, so I wouldn't be able to do any of the tourneys then.

MoH would be on Christmas day, I think....kind of establishing tradition.

Outside of that, not sure. I'd like to have the day off moderating myself.

I have about that two week and a half area in a way...
I just have things to do on and off during the break.

I won't be able to attend any tourneys held between the 19th - 21st and then of course the 24th and 25th.

I suck at TF2, my DS can't connect to wifi at the present, and I don't think I own any of the other games/want to play online in any of the other games...D:
