While I personally think NSider won't ever return, a couple of interesting finds today.
The first on the Tech Forums:
"The Nintendo Tech Support Forums are currently "read only"in preparation for our new Club Nintendo program. During this time, visitors will not be able to log in or create new memberships to My Nintendo and the Nintendo Tech Support Forums. The ability for current My Nintendo members to sign in or post comments is temporarily unavailable.
All existing Forum topics, posts, and replies will remain available for those looking for technical assistance with Nintendo products.
The ability to post comments will return when the new Club Nintendo program launches. Stay tuned to Nintendo.com for updates on Club Nintendo. "
Clicking Sign In takes you to club.nintendo.com
Once I was on there, I decided to check out DS news and stuff. A nice little window popped up, asking me to do a survey. I accepted, and did the lovely thing once I left nintendo.com
Among the questions were things like "Would you purchase products", "How often do you come", "How are Load Times", etc. There was also a lovely blank for suggestions.
Anyways, I still think NSider is not coming back....but this did pique my interests. So, do you think Club Nintendo could bring our old home back? Would you go? Etc.

I would go; I don't think it would bring back old friends, or old memories (Trivia HQ...) but new ones are definitely possible. Plus, survivors of Oldsider would probably reign supreme thanks to the wonderful powers of seniority... :p

Yeah. Plus, those of us that have been around in these spinoffs would be even more well known.....Silver would be uber popular.
I'd go, but NSF would still be home.
It would never be the same, Nintendo knows that. So they aren't going to try.
I'd only go back if the majority of this "new" forum was like the old one.
Which includes well...bassically how it is here.
Rank, Board selection, a good order, and non idiots (but I can't get everything I want, right).
I'd check it out, and if it seems like I can feel what I lost a long time ago on Old Sider, then I'll be a Reg there.
If not, then it can burn to a crisp. :robotindifferent:
I would love for our old home to come back. But it would truly depend on who they let run the place and how they ran it. I was looking around the Nintendo site and declined that servery myself.

Yup. But, then again, there are still the mainly unknown people at the spin-off sites; myself included. >_>
And that's exactly it. NSF is still home. If there happens to be a Club Nintendo forum and whatnot, it would just be a place to talk with people quick; general Nsider, a reply a second, you know? Here it's slightly... slow. Plus, a place with many more people would make thread trivia slightly more possible... =D
I would definitely go if that happened. I'd probably be remembered by returning members...but not for good reasons. :P
It might fill in some things from oldsider, but unless they completely revived oldsider it wouldn't be the same. Yeah i would prolly go
Probably. I don't know though. I'll pretend to be a girl. lol
Not too long ago I would have said that I would definitely go, but now I've become bored with forums so I wouldn't go.
I was never a well-known or respected member there(some things never change >_<) so if I went it'd be to start over and try to take it more seriously, not a revival of what used to be.
More than likely, yes. As long as it was at least somewhat similar.
I'd check it out only see what it would be like, but I don't think that I would go there frequently.
I would go...but only to see my old buddies if they went there too.
I'd probably go, but only if it got close to as big as the first one....but I doubt that's happening.
Also it depends on who is modding/admin the forums. If it's ANDY I'm creating an alt account and spamming his inbox >:D

Don't shoot the messenger.
Was Andy glad that the forums went? Probably, but it wasn't his decision.
It was part of Nintendo's "get rid of all forms of advertising except on TV and in non-video game magazines" thing last year that also included letting Future buy Nintendo Power.

He was still a jack-ass though X_X;;
No excuses, Nintendo could of done a BETTER job then what they did to "US".
*grabs heart*
The pain........ the hurt............
*whispers* ..........
It's still there!
:'(
Nsider can burn in hell for all I care. They shut it down with no notice, and there were too many retarded rules. Fuck them.
i would go back. like most of you say, it wont bring back old friends, but i still miss the 24-hour post activity, you know? its like a major highway on the internet, always bustling and stuff.
I'd go, I have nothing better to do.
I doubt I could go back to a strictly moderated forum after being on this place for so long, but I'd definitely visit a lot.
I'd just keep this place as my main forum :)
