Title: Post your near-death experiences.
Post by: Doodle on December 20, 2008, 06:28:32 PM
I was just thinking about a time when I almost drowned, so I decided to post this.
One day my brother and I were swimming in the pond out by my grandma's house. My brother started chasing me, so I of course ran away. But we both weren't paying attention, so we both fell into the deep end. My mom ended up swimming out to save us, so yay. Even though touchable ground wasn't even that far away...
And I remember pulling my brother under to stay up. :D

This. But I choked more on the extra cheese than the pizza. =P

Also, I almost fell off a 20-40 story building in Puerto Rico once.

Once while at the beach (Hazard Canyon, or just "Hazards" as most people call it) after surfing when I was about 9 or so, I was just sitting in the sand near where the waves break, and this huge one came and swept me out and accross all these sharp rocks. People call it Hazards for a reason, its all reefs, so the water is really rough and a lot of sharp rocks. I got out after a lot of swimming against the current, but I was covered in bleeding open cuts. That place also has a few reef sharks, glad none came after me D:

I also swallowed a pill that was way too big for me not too long ago, not very fun... It took forever for it to go down D:  I would swallow, and it would go down a bit, but then just from automatic reflexes my throat would gag it back up a little more >_>

I'm already dead. I was actually never alive, so no I'm not dead, I simply exist.

When I was born I had some stuff stuck in my throat so I was rushed to ER and had it sucked out.

Next I had a broken ladder that I climbed to get to the top bunk. It had hooks on it. I was sitting in a chair playing a game when the think unhooked and almost fell on my head. Might not have killed me but the hook might have gone in.

Then yeah, drowning.

Life hates me :(

In 8th grade I was gonna bench press on a version that has a lot of notches, and at the bottom has springs so it catches the bar and doesn't break your neck if you underestimate what you try to do. So it saved me and my neck from breaking.

And when I was 3, a large dollhouse fell on my face. :)

Watching Shrek 2 in Spanish
I don't know about you, but I think watching "Max Keeble's Big Adventure" in Spanish beats watching "Shrek 2" in Spanish any day.

Not only was it a terrible movie in English, it sucked even worse in Spanish! D:

Every second we live, we get closer to death. Therefore, life is a near-death experience.

Uh, I nearly died when I was born because I was way underweight.
Does that count?
