Does anybody know where I can find a Wii sensor bar that DOESN'T need to be plugged into a Wii to work? (Just a sensor bar, don't care if it's 3rd party unless it's some ultra-fail brand like pelican) What about some power converter that lets you connect USB/DC/Batteries to one?
I want to use the Wiimote with the computer without turning my Wii on for the sensor bar...
I don't really have the tools to make one myself and I prefer one that actually seems to be one piece...
Candles?
Get the NYKO Wireless Sensor Bar. It's the one I use. It's bigger, better, and wireless...it might work.

Uh... I don't have an alt. I did actually get it at EB Games the same day I picked up Phantom Hourglass, which was on Saturday October 6th. It costed $20.
That is exactly what I needed. I've noticed two slight problems though: The blue LED is WAY too bright and the battery cover flies off easily.

did anybody notic the "she" in bold and italic? anywho, the LED light is good, it lets you know how much battery energy is left. kinda like the gameboy color. and yes, the battery cover comes off a bit easily,

I saw it, but I don't get why you did that...
I'd be fine if the LED was as bright as the Gameboy or DS's, but it's WAY brighter than that. I have it covered with tape to darken it a bit.
