Title: How often are Game Systems Played?
Post by: Macawmoses on January 01, 2009, 04:57:57 PM

This came from GoNintendo, and a group that does research put that up.

I must say, I did expect the PS2 to be strong, but not that strong. I also figured the Wii would be numero dos, not third.

I play my Wii and DS quite a bit. Perhaps it's the lack of strong titles on Wii? And how is the Gamecube still kicking?

Oh, and 360 never would have made it that high in my eyes....must be Prince of Persia, Dead Space, Halo 3 etc at the root.

Discuss your play time and thoughts.

PS2 is still dominating? Damn. I knew it was amazing in it's generation, but I thought the 360 would have powerhoused through by now.

Also, I play my 360 the most, seeing as I have no good games (Other than TimeSplitters) for the PS2. I've been playing my Wii a lot, due to Animal Crossing.

I've played my PS2 the most because I barely got a 360 a few weeks ago, and my Wii never really got that much attention after I finished Brawl....

PS2, not surprising. One of the best system of that and the newer systems.

But I'm surprised the Wii isn't up there. Well it is, but not as much as I thought it would be.

The PS2 because lately it received the lastest games, such as Persona 4, which is said to be the last RPG for the system.

Well, the only systems I have are Nintendo systems. :P
I play my Wii the most, especially since I recently got a ton of new games for Christmas.
Next is probably my DS, thanks to Mario Kart DS.
Then my SNES for SMAS, then the N64. Maybe I'll play on something else every now and then.

Well if the Nintendo Wii actually MADE games that people want, and not crappy non gamer shovelware Bull *bleep*, maybe Nintendo Wii would be in 2nd.

It would seem that this is based upon True gamers (Hardcore Gamers) and not what Older (old/Non Gamers) people play.

WHICH I'm sure if this thing included "Non Gamers" Maybe Nintendo Wii would be 2nd.
Then again, I can see an older person playing WII BOWLING or Wii Fit or some other piece of crap for only 30 minutes then actually go on with more important things.........
so then again, who knows  :|

I can't believe the PS2 is that good still... wow.

I have a Nintendo Wii and a D.S. and despite the shovleware People like me are facing...every time I walk through the Video game area in a store, I"ll always put up with Nintendo's Antics and buy a video game once every 5 months which is around the time they actually DO put out a worth while game.

My bro plays his PS2 a lot, and several of my friends. Still, 30% is a lot.

Tuppy you're hardly ever on Xbox Live. D:

I'm on my Xbox for about 6 hours or more every day. I've been playing my DS a lot lately. Gotta beat that new Castlevania game. I haven't touched my Wii since Mario Kart: Wii came out.
