Nah, the starters on the youtube aren't the ones on the site. And the site itself says flat out it's not real and just for fun.
Still, some of the art is really good, like almost perfectly emulating Ken Sugimori. And a light type I always thought seemed necessary. Alas, not yet.

And lol, Pokecommunity is one of the affiliations.
The screenshots are clearly a ROM hack of Firered/Leafgreen.
The pokemon themselves have a noticeable completely different style than the previous generations, although the card artists did keep to a really good mimic of past card styles.
The "illustrator" names on the cards are pretty much usernames.
It probably mentions somewhere on the site that it's fake, but I didn't notice.
Also the fake 5th gen Pokedex ends on 650 which is way too even of a number, and contains 157 species which is more than any previous generation.
And wow, who spent all the time to make 157 fake pokemon designs along with all those trading card illustrations.
I wonder if they'll make a full-fledged ROM hack for this game, and if it'll actually be of decent quality.
I should hope not...
There are far too many Pokemon to begin with. I've finally caught them all. Don't make me catch more Nintendo. It took me 12 years.
