So I got my Xbox working today, only to find out the entire console is banned from Xbox Live. What a kick in the balls. Trying around to see if M$ will remove it ;-;.
Where did you buy it from!? Has it been modified by any means? Modifying the software would get a console banned. Or it may be your ip. Like if someone from your household or old user of your ip address got banned.

Ebay. Not modified. I contacted the guy I bought it from about this. No, its not the IP.
So you bought an used xbox? What did the guy say? It seems like he got it banned and is selling it because it got banned. I don't know if xbox will help you as its an xbox not under warranty, and they don't care what you do with it..

Well. I called customer support, got a vagina cleaning devicebag who just told me how it could of gotten it banned, not how I could have it removed. Then I send an email, get a response from the SAME guy telling me to use phone service because it is too hard to process the eMail request ;-;.
You can't do it yourself. You have to actually call them in and have them unbanned your xbox.

What I don't know is if they will do it.
If they don't, than you're out of luck! You can either change your Xbox mac address, which I doubt you know how to do or if it works. I'm not sure how Xbox live is ran exactly. Or you an just buy a new xbox 360
