Title: Favorite vehicles you made in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts?
Post by: Tupin on January 17, 2009, 04:02:57 PM
My personal favorite is very simple, yet awesome.

I start with a seat, put a cube behind it, then put a propeller on the back of the cube, an engine on the top, and fuel tanks on the side.

You start off on your back because it's top heavy, but once you get going, it goes fast. I also made a version with two and three engines, but they are too heavy and don't go as fast as the one engined version.

Any other awesome vehicles? I just got wings, so I should be able to create really good ones now.  :D

I put wings and balloons on a vehicle, no wheels, and put some guns, though it was a boring design, I liked flying around :P

I really don't use trays much...

I like making breakaway planes with detachers on the fixed wings and folding wings that pop out afterwards.

A few vehicles I have made:
A spring chair: It uses super seat and spring.  It allows you to get minimalst achievement REALLY easily (the funnier version is where you use the standard seat...)
Drag Racer: Use all the fuel you have, all the jets, and all the engines, and replenishers.  I recommend using Super wheels (or high grippers) and spoilers (actually, if you actually want to have control over it, USE THE DAMN SPOILERS!).  Goes to max on speedometer quickly!
Tank: Energy shield, rows of wheels on sides, armor, lots of fuel, lots of ammo, laser, torpedodile, and clockwork Kaz's with 2 large jets and 2 super engines (trust me, you'll need all that power), make something to fear.

I have other crazy designs, like a flying torture chamber, Attack helicopter, and more.

Also, use gyroscopes on a light weight plane for it to easily do loop-de-loops and, most importantly...

BARREL ROLLS!

I could give lost of tips to make nutty vehicles.  The ones I've given have to be my most over the top ones.

I made 8-bit mario by putting a ton of regular blocks and painting them, it can't drive, but it's the coolest vechicle ever. (http://banjo-kazooie.com/Handlers/Handler.ashx?mode=4&id=2CF165D21409C6E1AC5A)

Why didn't I think of that of all things?
