Well, it's finally almost here.
After a long wait, LOST season 5, is upon us.
This will be the place to discuss things about the show, or predict on what's going to happen next.
So, what do you think will happen in the premiere?
wait, when does it start?
I'm excited. Very, very excited.
I'm also sad, because I didn't watch any of Season 4, so I'll be clueless during this season.

ooh
you have to do that. Nothing will really make sense without season 4... :P
I mean, you could have probably jumped from season 1 to season 3, but I dunno... they killed quite a few people in 4, and revealed quite a bit as well...
Anyways, I'm pumped, gonna watch the show on myp2p probably, as it isn't on any channel I get, I don't think (not around home on wednesdays, at my house in the city with friends).
I'm excited for the new season. They're gonna be revealing stuff this year, as they have to, as it ends next year. :)

You might want to do that.....
Season 4 had the most stuff go down... :P
also, apparentley alot of people are going to die this season.
Iv'e even heard about a main character shooting another main character mid-season. :O
only 2 days left! :)

Has Hurley (I think that's his name) lost weight yet?
It's rather annoying that he's trapped on a desert island yet he hasn't lost any weight at all.
I used to watch Lost during Seasons 2 -3, but I got tired of all the reruns and the show just lost my interest. (HAHAHAHAHA cwutididthar?)

Becuase Hurley is portrayed by a real actor maybe?
Duh.
Besides most of season 3 was meh.
Watch season 4 and 5.
No re-runs, and the episodes are great.

Yeah, but it would only make sense for them to get him on a diet.
It just doesn't make any sense that he's there not losing any weight.
Although there was that episode where he revealed that he dipped EVERYTHING in Ranch, which is beyond disgusting.
they've made comments about how hurley never loses weight. They eat fairly well, hurley doesn't get a ton of exercise, and as you discover later, time's progression on the island is very screwed up.

Plus, for the 3 years he's been off the island for, he probably gained it all, or even more back. :P
here's it's 5 hours till Lost.

And she's from flashes before your eyes.
But that pendulum was strange...
Pretty good episode.

my theory:
they bury the H-Bomb, but in order to keep it in check, they have to enter an algorithm to keep it from overloading. This is "the incident". They convert The Swan into it, and have to enter the numbers into the algorithm, 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42, equalling 108, every 108 minutes in order to keep the bomb in check. When they stop, the bomb goes off, destroying the hatch, turning the sky purple.

yes, and that was explained in the show. but where does that electromagnetic energy come from? The purpose of the original Swan station wasn't built around the release of the energy, they only had to push the button after "The Incident", which is unexplained as to what it is at this point in time.

It's pretty obvious what happened to him, or at least what the circumstances were (I'm fulfilling a promise made to an old friend).
In other words, Penny is dead.
There were no altercations with Desmond, and Desmond knows nothing of Ben's fight with Penny.

Season Finale Tonight!
yay
Fairly decent finale. I loved Jack's general disregard to the fact that the people he is shooting are still going to die even if his plan works. My favorite shocker was Locke actually being dead as Jacob didn't really interest me and seemed like a jerk.
Have not watched the series until the last 5 episodes...
But I have a general overview of the story.
My Theory- :)
Guy in the beginning with Jacob is obviously who is "possessing" Locke now.
He and Jacob had been on the Island since the original founding of the Island.
The cabin was not Jacob's, but the other guy (kind of supported by the fact that those people were trying to show him Locke's dead body... they were going to expose him as a fake). The ash kept him in the cabin, and I'm thinking Ben was lying when he said he was lying the whole time. He had probably been contacted by this spirit who wanted Jacob dead, but had told Ben he WAS Jacob.
Locke was told he would have to die in order to recreate the crash, which really was a ploy for the spirit (also the smoke monster) to regain human form. When Locke told Richard to tell the "real" Locke he would have to die... it wasn't actually a past/future version of Locke. It was The fake Locke making sure he would get the body.
And something tells me Jacob isn't dead, or that he was worried he might die. If Jack's bomb plan worked, all of the people who were dead should come back to life but then crash again. The incident that caused the plane to crash was just carried out... but now it will happen again in the "future" with all the original people who were on the plane alive again.
My head hurts.

Youv'e pretty much summed up my theory too there. :P
For some reason, Dark UFO isn't working on my computer....
But I do know for a fact that juliet isn't going to be a season 6 regular.
