A rather intelligent analysis of the vidya game culture today. I personally agree with it pretty strongly; it's a tad extreme in some cases for sure, but the guy has some real points.

Anyway, thoughts?

I just watched that one.  Interesting theories, and it makes perfect sense.  I don't know what to add D:

That poop hole mentions the pixel pushing power of the PS3 and 360 yet fails to mention the PC in any way beside showing a picture of the cover of Crysis.

I think he was focusing mostly on the console market; I mean, of course PCs are a part of gaming but I wouldn't exactly assign the PC to any "generations" like the consoles have been through.

I agree with him pretty strongly as well. Nintendo will probably prevail if they keep up the franchises such as Mario, Zelda, Sonic etc., but they need to be careful how far they go such as the game Shadow the Hedgehog. I know that's Sega's territory but they seem to feed Nintendo only. Shadow the Hedgehog was one of the first titles to get the E10+ rating which is still pretty new. Some things in that game should have made the rating T in my opinion. Anyway, I'm sure Nintendo will be fine, but about Sony and Microsoft, I'm sure they will catch on eventually.
