But you must give up something, and you can only pick one.
And by precious, I mean something extremely close to you.
Would you rather know everything there is to know?
Or would you rather be immortal, and see what the future holds?
But remember, if you choose immortality, and you find someone you love, he/she will die, thus making you lonely.
The problem with omniscience...
You will know things that people are better off not knowing, which will probably make you extremely depressed, maybe suicidal.
You must pick one and give something precious up.
Choose wisely.

Well you have to pick one. =\
Fuck it. Omniscience.
I'll...I dunno what I want to give up. :(
I'd decliine.
I'm already insane.
How about I don't want either, even if it would be free? Honestly I think that decision was easy enough.
Easy. Omniscient. I would know the way to make myself immortal. And I guess, I would give up one of my nuts.
I've already gone insane. You can't make it any worse.
I'd rather have none.
But out of those, I guess omniscience. Where is a 120 year old guy going to get friends?
Omniscient. So I can kill myself.
Really, you are screwed either way.
Omniscient for sure. I wouldn't want to live forever, but telling everyone the world's secrets would be a hilarious thing to do before I got mobbed.
I'll give away my legs for omniscience.
If I were immortal, I'd grow older and older but I'd never die.
I think I'd prefer Omniscience. Besides, if I know everything, I'll know what the future will be like.
That's sutpid Rayquarian. Nobody can ever know what the future will be like. It hasn't happened yet, so there just isn't a way of knowing it.
I'd choose Omniscience, as most of you have. I don't want to live forever. I'm not afraid of death. Ove the course of my life, I have always actively tried to absorb all of the information around me. And I've done a pretty decent job so far. I know it's impossible, but I would love to know everything. I could completely change the way the world works with that kind of power. I don't want to sound like a megalomaniac, because I'm not, but you could just do so many amazing things if you knew everything there is to know.
Omniscience is like eating a gigantic bucket of slurpee or something all at once. You're not going to enjoy it and you're going to get brain freeze. Immortality is like eating that same gigantic bucket at your infinite (almost literally) leisure. I'd pick immortality.
However, about the killing off someone close to me...if it's assured with no strings attached, I'd consider it >_<

It didn't exactly have to be a person....do you want to kill a person?
Immortality, to be honest. Not for the "omg i'll never die" factor, but being there to see how much progress (if any :|) humans will make. Being able to live for tens of thousands of years would be greater than immediately knowing it all. Besides, if you knew it all, what would be the point of living? It would be much better to figure stuff out on your own, in my opinion.

That's what I thought too. But then you would NEVER die, EVER. Why would anyone want that? Its like endless hell... You would be lonely since if you ever got into a relationship they would grow old and die, and you wouldn't. Not my ideal life.

That won't be a drastic change. I'll give up my ex's life, how about that?
Neither, I'd rather be normal.
Also, this is stupid, if you can choose someone close to you to give up, then they're obviously not very close to you if you could give them up for some weird power.

oh, that's even easier.
Rethinking about it, never dying would be really cool. You could essentially do anything. You could ask the nations leaders straight up front anything you ever wanted from them. There would be no consequences to being shot. The only thing that could stop you would be to be behind bars, and eventually you can chip away at them by continually breaking your first trying to get out. But you wouldn't die of anything, so it'd be cool.

What if you get put away for life? Eventually, you'll break out, but what will you do before you escape?
If immortality also includes perfect health, I'll take it. Otherwise, I'll take omniscience.
I'll give up my Majora's Mask cartridge.

I'll be bored a while, but there's no way it'd matter in the grand scheme of things. The human race will die out far earlier than my life would be over (as in never).
Immortality........that would depend if I stay 120% healthy, never age beyond a certain point(or at least be able to shift age :P), and should humans go through some sort of evolution, so will I. In exchange.......... two of my five close friends bite the blade. its a steep price, but worth it.....*evil laugh*

Or heaven depending on how you spin it.
Omniscience.
And what I would give up... probably my intellect.
LOOP HOLES FTW!

That's against the rules. You have to trade something of value.

You can know everything and still be an idiot.
Omniscience. Seriously, using that knowledge to make the world a better place would be seriously awesome.
I'd give up... having my own room.
They both suck, but if I had to pick one it would be immortality, assuming I'll have perfect health and stop aging after a certain point. As for giving something up, it would have to be forced away or like someone else has stated, you can't give something up if it's truly dear to you. So I would hate it but my family would probably have to bite the dust ;-;
And with my immortality I would spend my time finding a way to another planet after this one becomes....useless?

I do value my intellect. VERY much so.
I'm not even sure If I have anything close to me to be honest.
Eitherway, I'd like Omniscience.
Is immorality the same as invincibility? If so, then I'd pick that. To do what the heck I want, whenever I want. But, since God loves me, he'd probably take me in about 300 years.
Sorry 'bout that. I meant immorTality.
Given those choices...
I'd definitely choose Immortality. I have my reasons.
I would choose immortality, and I would give up my knowledge of Ocarina of Time.
Anyone who knows me slightly well at all or anyone who comes to the forums usually should know that is an extreme thing to me.

Exactly. However still just giving that up in the first place is amazing.
