It's a year ending in 9, and that means the Woodstock Festival is coming to town!
Well, not to town. It's only in New York and Germany.
I happen to live in New York though, and this is one of those things you have to go to when you're young, in my opinion. I'll be attending. And because it's free, all I have to worry about is the trip. =D
I've never touched pot in my life, I've never moshed, nor have I been nude in public, and I don't plan on doing any of the aforementioned, but something about the festival is attracting me to it.
August 15th and 16th, any people planning on going, or wanna discuss?
Not even considering going. Woodstock '69 was the only true Woodstock, all the others are half-assed attempts.
I'm not going. It's too far away, and honestly, it doesn't interest me at all.
Like Red said....it's not the same as the first. It's something that could be special....but meh. No point.
The first Woodstock had some good intentions. All the others are just corporate, materialistic shells of what it formerly represented.
I didn't know there were other Woodstocks.
meh, I probably wouldn't consider going unless some really good (in my opinion) bands or electronic artists are there. Probably not.
WHOO, HIPPIE FEST
I might go. I've been wanting to go to New York again. But that's not for a looong time.
Who's going to be playing?

Who's going to be playing?
If there are good bands/artists we should go.

Might want to read up on Woodstock 1999 first before you make that decision. :3
I feel so left out, I have no clue what this is....

you mean like everything except the first of it's kind?
This is why no one trusts businesses (or politicians for that matter).

I think that's pop-culture-from-the-last-century heresy.
Seriously, it's literally common knowledge.
