Title: What songs...
Post by: HTA! on February 04, 2009, 05:18:49 PM
Just completely annihilate you?

I consider myself to be pretty decent at expert guitar,5 starring most of WT and getting near global scores.

But some songs just irk me. D:
For example Hot for Teacher (Not opening, can FC that, but the hammer on to chord transition)
Satch Boogie (Lose my rhythm on the slider)
And Zach Wilde Guitar Battle (:()

Although. I've been trying Hyperspeed 2 and 3 recently with varied success, maybe I need to step it down...

The only song I can't beat on Expert is Satch Boogie, due to Solo F.

I used to suck at Hto for Teacher verse, but I'm getting better.
I can only 3-star the hard songs until I play them more and more.

WT:
Love Me Two Times: Fucking blue/orange trills. I suck at those.

I'm surprisingly pretty good with Satch Boogie, even 4*'d it last week. However, Detention Riff kicks my ass in Hot for Teacher, not in that it's hard to pass, but in that it's hard to sustain any respectable multiplier. Have yet to even 4* it.

Also, BYOB, because I: a) Hate the song with a passion and will not play it now that I've cleared it, and b) I'm terrible with note-changing gallops.

RB2:
I don't like the swing HOPOs in Rob the Prez-O-Dent. Great song, though.

Master Exploder for the chord changes in the main riff. Similar situation with Trapped Under Ice, though I've 5'd both of those.

Visions, because it's RB2's version of BYOB; put in just to annoy the piss out of you.

Constant Motion. Do I really need to say more? The verse riff (not the chorus riff, that's easy) has bizarre chord changes. The solo anally violates you regardless of how good you are.

Caprici di Diabolo. Never played it because I'm not a Malmsteen fan, but youtube videos of the chart predict that it'd kick my ass.

Sleepwalker. Again, weird chord changes in the verse riff. I'm terrible at those. Can usually survive until the second solo (lol, Mosh 1 at 80% speed with a note window twice as picky)

E-Pro on vocals. New Kid in School on vocals. Tangled Up in Blue on vocals.

Master Exploder, for some reason I just can't do it.  D=
