That's right, you can now play your favorite NES or Genesis games on the go, this time with correct button placement.

This is the second version of the FC Mobile, with significant improvements over the first. It can use an AC adapter in addition to batteries and has the buttons correct, which is B and then A rather than A and then B.

The pink one is the new portable Genesis, hopefully it will be good enough to be a Nomad alternative. There's also another look at the FC Mobile 2, the one with Tetris in its slot.
What do you think about these? I personally am glad I waited for all these improvements, but still they set the MSRP of both at $80. I might ask for it for my birthday or something. :robothappy:
Apparently the price isn't set yet, after I spoke to a Hyperkin employee.
Still looks interesting, and the Sega handheld will have built in games as well as the ability to use carts.
That actually looks pretty cool. I kind of want one now. :P

As do I. The release date isn't set, though.
Is all this legal? D:
As it is being sold through retailers, I'd assume so.
Yes, they are all legal. The company that makes them only sell to wholesalers, so you'll only find it online or in stores like Play N Trade. The FC Mobile II comes out on May 7th and costs $60. It's known incompatibilities include Battletoads, Paperboy, and Castlevania III.
Not much is known about the Genesis handheld, except that it is Sega sponsored, will include 20 built in games, a region select switch, a cartridge port, and will be called the Sega Pluto.
Here's a pic of the FC Mobile II's final design (a prototype was pictured)

I want one of those two, but when they are both out, I don't know which I'll get...

I can understand Battletoads and Castlevania, but what makes Paperboy incompatible with the FCMobile II?

I don't know, but when they announced it was incompatible, they also said they had gotten Megaman 3 to work.
Just bought an FC Mobile II online today, $10 cheaper than it is everywhere else, from Newegg. :)
Should be here in a few days...
Just got it today, this thing is freaking awesome. ;D
How much is it?

I want that dingaroo one, looks interesting.
I'm assuming it can run homebrew games.
