I'm looking for a few users to help me make good use of the GTS. I'm in need of new Pokemon, shiny and wonderous ones, but don't have the means to do so on my own.
Anyone have tips and strategies on how I can get Pokemon I'm after....also how to get morons to give me deals?
Much obliged,
~Mack
Idk. All I've seen are sucky hacked Pokemon like a Lv. 79 Ho-oh (Ditto) for any Ho-oh.
Advice? Get lucky.
The GTS is all about luck, don't expect to find anything like a legit shiny Mewtwo or anything, but there are some little gems out there. Once I was just playing around with the GTS and found a legit shiny Psyduck asking for a Oddish or something like that.
I haven't used the GTS in quite a long time, so I don't know if its changed.
Usually if you find a dude that puts the up named Spencer, they're Legit, and fair trades ::)
Guess who that is.
Team up with a friend and search for different Pokémon. A friend of mine got me a shiny Blaziken.

Thats what I did. My friend, who was obsessed with electrivires, found 3 legit level 100 elctrivires and a shiny one I think.
So basically, 2 man jobs?
I'm curious as to how you all know each Pokemon is "Legit."

The stats are reasonable, not blown out of proportion.
Doesn't really mean much if you think about it. Some people want shiny for the sake of shiny and don't care about stats.
I've found countless amounts of legit shiny Pokemon on the GTS, it is really just being on at the right time as well as to having the Pokemon being asked for. Check the Pokemon that are commonly caught and traded, such as legendary Pokemon, low level starters, and as well to the unusually traded Pokemon.
